Maidstone Hotel

The room was clean, comfortable, and I felt safe and secure here. The staff in the bar and the cafe were incredible, helpful, and friendly people! I was in the area for work and had originally thought I would be heading out, but when I realized I was running late, I phoned the hotel back, and they were able to put me right back in the room I had been staying in. The food from the cafe is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I had a chicken Caesar wrap and cactus chips twice - the flavour of everything is mind-blowing! The seasoning and dip for the cactus chips are indescribable. I also had their eggs benedict for breakfast one morning. I can't say enough good things about both the hotel and the cafe! I would drive from Saskatoon on an afternoon just for the food here. I will absolutely stay and eat here again. Thank you all for an awesome experience!

Regardless of slow or not closing prior to your business hours is false advertising, truly unprofessional staff and complete poor attitude.

This place really makes the best cherilyzers in town. Had some wings and a steak sandwich. The steak sandwich was excellent. Good steak flavour.

Its 330 and the music is still going...Walls are thin, shower heads old and covered with scale.. no room temperature control..And I'm paying way mer that i should for this level.of 'quality'Think of this as a 35/ night place were you are charged 80... Burgers are 17+ (its a 7$ burger at best)I don't recommend if your looking sleep...

Dingy, small town bar. Rude bartender - don't go here. Smells like mushrooms.

Was a great option for an overnight in this area. Room was clean, service at the front desk was good. Only downside to staying in Maidstone was that the Husky service station was not opened at 6 am like is stated on their door. So I had to wait until 7 am to get coffee and some food.

Enjoyed my stay, nice little pub, room was clean. Didn't get to try the restaurant, maybe next time. Great staff!

This hotel is very clean, well kept, and the staff is extremely friendly which makes me feel bad for giving it a low rating. With that being said - I am not a smoker and my company put me up in this smoking hotel with no other options (which I did not know was legal).. all I could smell was smoke and no matter how clean you keep a place, a non-smoker can notice. The aesthetic of this place could definitely use some rethinking as the curtain was an old football flag, the table was an old crib bar table, and everything else was extremely outdated and felt like I was sitting in a bar in the 90's. Overall, the owners made for a great stay, but the constant smell of smoke is not for me.
