Thornhill - Pediatrics

My son's pediatrician moved out of province and we had such a hard time finding another doctor for months. Thankfully my friend recommended Thornhill Pediatrics and I'm so grateful we got in!From my initial email with Sam, she was so quick to respond. Transferred all my son's file, they received it the next day and was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Sudai (who is such a lovely and knowledgeable pediatrician) within weeks. The quickest transaction I've ever seen for a pediatrician clinic.Lisa at the front desk was pleasant. They are a very full and busy clinic and likely exhausted, but they are doing the best they can. Thank you Sam, Lisa and Dr. Sudai, we had a lovely experience and am so happy to have found this clinic!

I normally do not participate in reviews, as I know there are 3 sides to every story. Today's events have forced me to take out the pen.My daughter has been seeing Dr. Goldberg for several years with both of my grandchildren. I have had the occasional opportunity to attend with her to lend a helping hand. It is my understanding that Cindy is a wonderful doctor, and I commend her for her bed side manners.My granddaughter has been extremely ill for a few days now. My daughter was finally able to arrange a zoom call with Dr. Goldberg. The doctor is, I believe very familiar with both of my grandchildren, having seen Dr. Goldberg for several years. My granddaughter has had a fever for 4 days now and has not been able to eat or sleep for days and finally today Dr. Goldberg advised that she will need a prescription to cure what is likely a chest infection.The appointment was at 11:30 today and the prescription was to be faxed to a local pharmacy prior to lunch today to allow my granddaughter with 2 doses today to get a prompt start on the healing process. Well past 6:00 p.m. no prescription was sent to the pharmacy. More than 15 phone calls were made to the doctors office, all of which fell on deaf ears and obviously to no avail. My daughter finally sent a last ditch attempt at emailing the doctor, pleading for some results and amazingly the prescription showed up at the pharmacy.It seems the doctors at this office are great! Why in the world would these doctors accept the support staff of uncaring, unsympathetic, poor quality people who appear not to have the best interest of their patients? Certainly, their are many qualified and caring health care workers who have given up on the health care system and who would thrive in an office environment. It is time to pay attention doctors!!

It has been 8 years we are taking our son here, it was always a 5 stars place and Dr. Greenberg was amazing. Since he left, he was replaced by Dr.Hershenfield, who is also amazing doctor, no doubt about him and stars you see here are for him. However…. stars removed here are for the office staff! They try their best to don’t understand your situation. I can’t say who exactly. I hope one day they leave this office.

What can say about these folks? They are the best! I know there are some reviews that say otherwise, but I am not sure why. Maybe some one-off situation, but trust me, we were getting the best treatment there.It privileged us to get Dr. Hershenfield, and he is a gem of a person and a brilliant doctor. Our 2nd child had some complications, he understood that as parents sometimes all we need is an assurance that everything will be fine. He treated us with respect & kindness.The office staff was really nice and cordial. Whenever we needed an appointment, it was just an email away.We would have continued with them for as long as we could if we didn't have to move. Even then, we were thinking of driving for 2hours just to be under their treatment, but with the weather and my kids' condition, we couldn't take that risk.We wish them all the very best.-Subhrajit

I have to admit that when I transferred with Dr Hershenfield from Kidcrew, I was nervous as their office runs like a well-oiled machine and the below reviews were not generous. However, I have had nothing but the best experiences with the office staff and Dr Hershenfield. Lisa and Sam are friendly, but busy as the practice is exceptionally full. If you follow the rules and are reasonable, there is no way that the practice doesn’t deserve 5 stars. Emails are answered promptly even when a last minute appointment is required. Thank you Lisa and Sam!

I’ve been bringing my daughter here for almost 2 years and have had nothing but the best experience. I honestly am not sure what the reviews saying otherwise are about.If we need to see Dr Goldberg, I email and almost always have an appointment within 24 hours.I never bother calling to book an appointment, but I find that’s the case with most clinics that have an email address!I always feel so cared for, and my daughter now loves going to the clinic. Sure it’s older, but the people are amazing! I’ve recommended it to 3 friends and they all love their experience too.

Sam is the rudest person ever. The attitude and the lack of compassion for my child and other families children is unbelievable. How can a doctor have such a person as their front desk? I’m disgusted. Trying to get an appointment at their dirty clinic is like pulling teeth and you never get in regardless of how severe your child’s condition is. We’re switching clinics because my child’s health is important to me but apparently not to them. Garbage place, garbage receptionist, wouldn’t recommend to my worse enemy.

Dr. Sudai is by far the best pediatrician. She would follow up on us even on weekends and she really cares. I could not have asked for a better clinic for my son. We have visited the clinic over 10 times now and did not have any bad experiences. They have been remarkably quick at responding back to our inquiries.

Dr. Hershenfield is awesome! We are so happy to have him as our Pediatric Physician. He takes his time, he cares about all his patients and is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend! 5 Stars.
