Doogan's Pet Centre

Fantastic pet store, clean, well stocked and great friendly, and knowledgeable staff! The animals seem well cared for, and the staff took the time to ensure I was well prepared for my new pet axolotl! She ensured I had what I needed, explained how to care for him, and gave me the information I needed to continue with his already started habits. I was thrilled by the health of my axolotl, and how well he was already eating! I even received a personal email after to check in. Really happy with the whole experience, and quality of this pet store!

First of all the rabbits sold there are very young, not even sure if they are big enough to be sold. Secondly rabbits should not be kept with guinea pigs as it is at this store. Many towns implemented bylaws that dogs, rabbits cats can't be sold at pet stores anymore unless they are for adoption from shelters. Unfortunately Barrie seems not to care. This is sad as people buy rabbits because they look cute but then they dump them often on a street. It's a big problem.

I went to doogans with my daughter we bought a bunny from a amazing friendly guy whom was so helpful, I go back to buy a friend for him apparently, the punk Rocker youngster does not take Native American status cards also told me to go back to my reservation I am appalled and disgusted with how I was treated I’m going to report this to police as the young lady clearly knows nothing about heritage or First Nations I am disgusted and will report and post my opinion and video viral how far youTalk to native native Americans or anyone that’s not Your ethnic background you are disgusting person, and clearly not raised right I would never ever ever recommend this place horrible racist, white people environment not wait I would say don’t go there unless you want to see and feel what I have Justine Bone I’m also a First Nations artist you can see my page on fb I’m authentic

We got our male Cockapoo puppy Wilbur from Doogans and Lindsay is so helpful and amazing and cares so much about each animal and has so much helpful information and advice and Wilbur is such a great puppy I’m so glad we went to Doogans for our newest addition

The employees are super knowledgeable and absolutely the best my new go to pet store even if it is a 45 minute drive absolutely worth it

This is my go to store to buy food for my bearded dragon, from my experience all of the employees are friendly and answers any questions I have excellently. If you’re looking for good prices and good employees this is the store to go

Just want to share some photos of the two little cuties I brought home last week. They are sooo playful and energetic and always melt my heart they are asleep. They two make good companion of each other so if you’re getting ferrets, it would be a good idea of getting two instead of just one. It takes lots of time, energy, patience, and money to take good care of them(If you allow them to free roam in your house for most of the day, feed them freeze-dried raw stead of kibble, and spend quality time w/ them) so think twice before you purchase them❗️although they are super super cute. And I really want to thank Doogan’s pet for sending them to my life, the best pet store I’ve been to. People there are nice and professional, and I highly recommend you going there.

This place really cares about the animals and makes sure they are well cared for! The staff is super friendly and love catching up with the pets they gave forever homes to! I fell in love with these 2 (dark is Sam Winchester, blonde is Dean) I just want everyone to know, no matter what kind of animal you choose here, or chooses you in my case, these lovely people have your back!
