Kiraku Sushi
Loved their food and creative menu. We started off with a miso soup to warm up. Then we got their tacos, mango roll, dragon roll, and assorted sashimi. I think their mango rolls are definitely worth a try! Overall 5/5, probably will start coming here a lot more often!

Their Teriyaki Chicken is the best teriyaki I’ve tried so far! Their Oshi Sushi tastes great too, sushi tastes fresh and everything was made perfectly! The Bbq beef was ok, it wasn’t as tender, but marinate was ver tasty. They also have an all day happy hour, which makes it even better.

You have to try the Sushi Hot Dog and Sushi Tacos when you’re here.The nori sushi wrap are deep fried in a taco shape to give the Sushi Taco this really nice crunch.I found the Sushi Hot Dog to be too spicy. Read in one of the review that you can order it non-spicy. It was tasty. Just not a fan of anything spicy.The Oshi Lunch was also very good and filling.FYI: The floor of this place is alittle slippery.

I highly recommend visiting Kiraku Sushi restaurant as we had a delightful and satisfying dinner. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The simple yet elegant presentation of the dishes is visually appealing. It was a pleasant dining experience overall.

The sushi taco is amazing because the nori is extra crispy and the filling is abundant. We got the crab and scallop tacos to share. The hotdog sushi was a one time try and share because it’s huge. It’s too much rice for me but great to try it.The sushi donut is nothing special. Sashimi is very fresh and grilled squid was delicious. We came at a not busy time so got a table right away and service was amazing! I would love to come try the aburis next time.

The pros are the service is good and they have the cutest Japanese tea cups with sushi or Mount Fuji on them. The food presentation is decent. Taste-wise the food was mediocre and different from traditional Japanese flavours. For example, the oyster motoyaki came with melted marble cheese on top which I have never had before and felt the flavours didn’t work as well with the oyster. The tempura was served lukewarm and not crispy on the outside and their choice of carrot for tempura was something I never had before and again not the tastiest in my opinion. The Uni and scallop sushi taco was alright. The chawanmushi was good but not outstanding. The restaurant decor is cute though.

We definitely had better sushi before. The grilled mackerel was dry, salad lost its juices long ago, portions are small, but the price is high. The worst part- that we had to wait almost an hour for our snack size portions. I gave 2 stars because the waiter was running around alone, serving full house.

For anyone planning to go - please anticipate a longer wait for your food if you are ordering the restaurant’s more unique offerings, like the sushi hotdog, tacos, or pizza. These dishes take a lot of effort to make. It’s a good idea to enjoy a meal here if you aren’t in a rush. The staff here, especially the person working to take orders and serve guests, are clearly invested in providing great food and great service. We ordered the sushi hotdog with no spiciness, which was unfortunately overlooked. When we pointed this out, our server immediately took care of the problem. Despite being so close to closing time, they remade it with no attitude and no complaints. They did not rush us to finish eating even though they had closed and other patrons had left. Just want to say thank you so much for the great food and the wonderful service. Would love to come back.

Came here with family - ordered a bunch of the more interesting dishes. Food quality was good - service was less than enthusiastic but still attentive. Would repeat the tower, the tacos and sushi donut.

Such a great restaurant with nice workers, quick service and amazing food!! Got to try their sushi tacos - they were massive and tasted so good! It’s also super close to richmond centerReally enjoyed this place!
