Got a $540 pair of orthotics:- Severe pain for the first 2 months. Discontinued use and my symptoms got worse. The problem was there was not enough support on the heel. The additional support was suggested by physio, not the podiatrist. The podiatrist doubted the extra padding would fix the issue.- Since I purchased the orthotic, my symptoms persist due to lack of support from the orthotic. I've had to spend over $1000 on physio to fix this clinic's mistakes.- Tried to book an appointment 1 year after purchasing the orthotic. I got called on my first day back at work and 1 business day before the appointment to tell me their current podiatrists weren't going to be able to help me or offer advice because they didn't know my situation well enough and said they were confused based on my previous review (they didn't contact me prior to clarify or apologize).I'm jealous of the majority of these reviewers who have had success with this clinic. Me, I'm still suffering and am looking for new options. This clinic is unprofessional and lacks any care for me as a client.If you are searching for an orthotics clinic in Ottawa, don't choose this clinic.

Hands down THE place to go for custom orthotics, and if you can, go to Kevin!!!! What an incredible team, they are always so nice and accommodating, as well as competent and prompt. I travel all the way from Toronto to keep going here and have at least 6 pairs of orthotics from them over the years!!!!

I had my first visit way back in mid 2000’s recommended by my physiotherapist. I’ve been going back ever since. Rebecca is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She is also very accommodating in both scheduling and adjustments. Their online appointment scheduling is very easy use. In the last year my 13 year old son has now become a client of Ottawa Orthotic Lab as well. I recommend Ottawa Orthotic Lab every chance I get.

I had an excellent experience with Rebecca! She took the time to really assess my needs (including a run analysis), explain the cause of the pain, and her recommendations. She was very receptive when I needed some adjustments made to the insoles, and was able to make them on the spot. I've been running in my new insoles for months now with no more pain. Thanks!

After suffering with chronic plantar fasciitis, my foot feels better than it has in 20 years. Rebecca took the time to review my history and MRI results. She has made my last two pairs of orthotics and fine-tuned them a few times. Last year I couldn’t put any weight on my foot for more than 15 minutes without experiencing pain. My activity was severely curtailed. After several months of physio, wearing a brace for tendonitis and a cortisone shot into my heel in July things improved a lot. This was followed by a PRP injection in December. Rebecca made multiple adjustments to orthotics and gave great advice on footwear. I’m now back to golfing, hiking, and snowshoeing after wondering if my foot would ever get better!

Going to see Kevin was the best orthopedic experience I have had over the past twenty years! He listened to my concerns and took all of those concerns and my individual needs and gave me an orthopedic that was comfortable and one I could put in and go and my heel pain is almost completely gone away. I'm so thankful I found him and the amazing staff,also they were made in a week and getting an appointment was fast and the outcome was the most positive and helpful visit and I'm happy to recommend him and the Ottawa Orthotic Lab! Amazing service! On my first visit, I brought all my shoes and she took the time to explain why every pair was bad for my posture. She's very knowledgeable and friendly. Went back a second time to get my second pair of orthotics within 3 months!

I worked with Kevin, he was a wealth of information, professional to work with, and very personable right from the start. I had custom foot orthotics made and every step was quick and painless, from the initial assessment to the gait analysis and casting. The cast is even given to you so you get a discount if you for whatever reason you need another set made. There was a very quick turnaround time, as they are manufactured in-house. The orthotics have been great so far, leagues ahead of over the counter products. Reduced pain, increased comfort, incredibly durable, and a long warrenty. They also offer adjustments if you aren't satisfied. All of the information to make submitting an insurance claim very easy was given. I would recommend to all family and friends, and would happily return for any work I would happen to need in the future. Thanks guys!
