Makkink's Flower Farm & Bakery Café

Hilde provided all the flowers for our son's wedding this past weekend. They were absolutely gorgeous and many people commented on them. She has an eye for colour and knows how to make every bouquet beautiful. So happy I found this business.

I took my parents for a day Trip to Makkink’s Flower Farm and we had such a wonderful time cutting our own flowers and strolling. The staff are so courteous, kind and helpful. They even provide us cups with water for our flowers since we came from Hamilton. Lovely place, great vibe which offers wonderful seating areas and delicious baked goods and trinkets…loved it ❤️

This was the perfect morning activity with my toddler. The farm is beautiful and inviting. Everyone was lovely and so helpful we had a wonderful time! Great for pics and relaxation!

We had a fantastic experience picking flowers. It's an opportunity to learn about flowers that may not be on our home garden.The owner and staff are so knowledgeable and kind. Sitting in the shed" is quite calming. It really is a stress free place."

We ordered our wedding flowers from Makkink's. Hilde was so lovely to work with and answered all my questions. We went with the DIY option for our centerpieces and had Hilde make our bouquets and boutonnieres. Everything was great! Its been over a week and the bouquet and boutonniere are still in great shape!

I took my mom to a cut your own for her birthday and we had so much fun. The lady was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. The flower picking was nice, as we had the whole farm to ourselves. It was quiet, peaceful, and pretty. There were so many different kinds of flowers to pick. Once we picked out flowers, we handed them in and got them arranged into beautiful bouquets. While we waited for that, we went to the Farm Store. The Farm Store had a few homemade baked goods and a few other snack items. They also had beautiful vases and scented candles for sale. We had our drinks and snakes in a beautifully designed outdoor seating area. The whole experience was fun and my mom and I would love to go again.

Thank you SO much for the amazing worship! Your studio/store is wonderful to work in and you are an awesome teacher - laid back and creative! We all loved it!! What a great way for a group of friends to get together. We will be back.
