Stopped in to pick up a microphone with my partner and Rick + Dan were so so helpful helping me pick one out. I said off the bat I didn’t know a heck of a lot about sound and needed a decent stage mic that I could also use for recording. They kept me in my budget and were fantastic guys to talk to. Super knowledgeable and kind to boot. Thanks guys!

Best place to visit and buy. The vendors are very friendly. Parking in the back of the building. All the products are the excellent quality. I like Steve's Music store very much.

They have almost if not everything you need. The best place to go in Ottawa for drum selection. At the moment with the covid they leave the door lock, you need to knock on the main door and a staff will escort you to what you need. You cant really browse much. A few sterilization machine around the floor.

Nice customer service and great product selection. I dropped off my bass at the shop so they could restring it and do some routine checks/maintenance on it. It took a bit on the long side to get done, and after I got my bass back the action on my new strings was a bit too low (had some rattling). I had to make some readjustments myself, which didn’t take too long.

Took my guitar in to have the neck adjusted after I messed it up. Pat helped me on the spot and even fixed a few other small things that needed to be done. I went in assuming I'd have to leave it and come back later next week, but Pat had me in and out in less than a half hour.FANTASTIC service!

Amazing experience! Love the workers. Good sense of humour and good attitude. They tuned and fixed my guitar while explaining to me the issue, they sold me a nice cord for it and I got a free show of the worker playing guitar! Haha will come back this summer and buy a violon!

Worst customer service I've ever met. I came to spend almost 2k and they had to give me excellent customer service. But when I asked someone to help he just disappeared, telling me he has a customer now. But actually, he didn't. Others did the same unattentively behavior.

They have good selection and knowledgeable staff. However on many occasions I felt like I was bothering them just by walking in the door. Felt like walking through a prison wing with everyone staring but not saying anything. I can understand because the majority of people want to try instruments and not buy anything. I’ll keep coming back, but I do hope they can improve their customer service.
