Food slightly pricy compare to other places, otherwise decent prices. Great service from staff!

This place has a great selection of healthy food items and bathing items for both cats and dogs. They also have a few items for other animals, not many but some. I would give this place 5 stars for the quality and selection but the only thing that bothered me is that both people working there ONLY spoke French. Now I get that it is Montreal, Quebec but still, most of the stores around at least are bilingual. So I was asking if they had any suggestions for dog shampoo that was safe to use around cats, since tea tree oil can be deadly to cats, and it took forever for them to finally understand me and then just walk off, probably because of frustration but still. Like I am working on my French and haven't gotten far enough to learn the words for those items so they couldn't understand and NEITHER of them spoke English, other than Hi and Thank you.

Rainy Sunday morning. Lots of products. Service was good. I love this chain of stores this one as well as the one on Beaubien. Recommend

Almost has everything good place

Unfortunately, on sunday april 11, 2021, there was a female cashier who seemed miserable serving me and i was given the impression that i was bothering her or disrupting her as a customer.I greeted her when i entered and she did not reply so when my boyfriend also said hello, she finally greeted back but with attitude. We were looking for a chew toy and overwhelmed with the options but never did the cashier pass by to ask us questions or offered help. When we finally decided on something alone, we went to the cash to pay and without even asking if we found everything we needed or another type of acknowledgement, the cashier just asks “your phone number?” I was so caught off guard by the impatient tone that i said “excuse me?” And she repeated again with the same impatient tone, like my presence was really annoying her. I finally decided to not purchase the chew toy i was looking for because i felt unwelcomed as a customer.I do not recommend this pattes et griffes as there are plenty of other pet shops around the area and many other pattes et griffes around montreal.
