Alberta Men's Hockey League

I have managed and played on Top Shelf for 20 years, 17 years have been at Alberta Men's Hockey League. My team has played in Div 2-Div7, 6 guys original. I have seen it all and still come back to this league because of its accountability towards the players. Things happen and conversations are started. Fairness has always been a priority towards all fellow players. The league keeps stats on line. Refs are veterans and we have seen a lot of them. Hopefully Top Shelf will be around for another 20 years, all to be enjoyed in the AMHL.

AMHL is very well run. They treat teams great and are always accommodating and easy to deal with. Fantastic league!

My team has played in a few different city leagues. AMHL to date, has been one of the better run leagues. The management is great to deal with; very prompt, diligent and accommodating. This league is organized very well and they do a good job of meeting teams needs. Refs are professional, easy to communicate with and allow for fair play, while keeping control of the game.All in all, my team feels the AMHL is a great fit for us!

Very well ran league. Ice times are great! Played last night at 7:30pm and was a great time. The refs could be a little more down to earth and listen to the players, but its beer league hockey and nobody is perfect! Reinier runs a tight ship and he cares very much about every individual every team!I highly recommend this league to anyone who is interested in a home for their team.The 2 people who left bad reviews are whiny babies who probably didn't get their own way and thought it would be a good idea to smear the name and cry about a very reputable hockey league that has been around the longest because they never played real hockey before and thought they would cry about it.

I have played in this league for the last half dozen years. Very well run. Great ice times! Great ownership! Very flexible and easy to work with.
