Great haircut at an affordable price. After comparing the prices at other barber shops in the area, I chose Rita's as it was about half the price of everywhere else. That being said, there was no compromise in quality. Rita herself was also very friendly and I really enjoyed speaking with her. Definitely would recommend.

Because I am both inept at describing how to cut my hair, and often dislike the forced conversations had with stylists at other establishments, I hate getting my hair cut. Rita, the owner of The Pantyhose Barber, was a breath of fresh air to what I previously assumed to be the status quo. She listened and was able to impart her expertise in providing me with an excellent cut, and she was funny and a delight to converse with. I admire her story and the exceptional service she provided. I will be back, and I am going to also bring my little one when he is due for a cut. Cheers!

We took our little guy here for his first hair cut not knowing what to expect, but Rita quickly made him feel comfortable - she is the consummate professional - talented, warm and efficient! Our little guy loved that Rita's doggie watched the cut and her two zebra finches were a great distraction for him too! We will definitely be back - thank you so much Rita!!

Rita not only gave me a great cut but she was fantastic company. Funny, smart and super chill. I especially appreciate that hair cuts aren't gender priced - my short clipper cut was well worth the twenty bucks I paid. On top of it all Rita's story and ambitions are incredibly inspiring. Loved her! So glad to have found a place to return to after a few too many over priced bad cuts. Thanks for doing what you do mama!

I've been to many different places for haircuts in my life, and usually they're all overly expensive and still get an essential pixie cut wrong! Within a few words, Rita knew exactly what I wanted and needed for my haircut to be perfect! For $30 bucks and only about 15-20 minutes in the chair, I'll definitely be going back there for the fastest, most spot-on haircut again.

Went for the first time today and absolutely will be a regular customer from now on! Best and most affordable haircut that I've had in Toronto. Prices are beyond reasonable. Rita is so warm and inviting and I love that her shop is dog friendly!! Thank you for the excellent customer service and for my awesome new hair cut. I'll be back!

Great price for a women's cut and Rita does a great job. I love it because I am growing my hair out and just need a trim once in a while (not looking for frills like a wash or blow out). Usually it's $60+ for a women's cut downtown and I can't afford that every time I need the ends cleaned up. Hopefully my hair will be in better shape now that I've found this wonderful place!

Hands down the best $20 haircut you'll ever find! It can be daunting to find your barber in a new city, but Rita was warm, welcoming, highly skilled- and a real success story. Do yourself a favour and get a great affordable cut here in the company of a sweet dog and zebra finches!

Rita saved my birthday!Easter weekend, my own birthday party only hours away, everywhere else was closed, I missed my appointment at a different shop, and I'm scrambling to find anywhere else that is open and nearby.That's how I found this gem of a barbershop.Not only did I get in right away, just in time to save the day, but It's one of the better haircuts I've had since moving to Toronto. Rita really has an eye for detail and quality mens' cuts.However, my favorite part of all this, was how personable and fun to talk to Rita was. I almost enjoyed the conversation more than the cut. She's an inspiring character.Definitely will be returning here for my next cut.
