They great pub fare done right. I am guessing this is the best restaurant on Bowen Island. The value and quality are excellent for a remote restaurant.They have drink special from 3 to 5. There is a lot of street parking. They closes early (10 pm on a Friday).

I had a 3-course dinner. Started with a cup of the salmon chowder. It was delicious. My main was the Seafood Cobb Salad featuring candied salmon and fresh grilled prawns. The dressing was nicely integrated and not too strong. For dessert I had the Brownie Terrine. An absolutely fantastic dessert. Easily big enough for three people. I ate the whole thing, enjoying every sweet bite. Come and enjoy.

The Bowen Island Pub is a must-visit spot on the island, especially for those in large groups. The pub offers a clean and spacious atmosphere, making it an excellent venue for gatherings. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making for an enjoyable dining experience.On weekends, the pub offers live music and events, providing entertainment for guests. However, the real draw is the food. While the portions are generous, the quality of the food is average at best. The fish and chips, in particular, left something to be desired, as the fish was way over-fried.The lavender lemon cocktail, unfortunately, was not up to par either, as it was too sweet and tasted synthetic. However, this should not deter anyone from visiting the pub, as it offers a wide variety of other drinks and food options that are worth trying.Overall, the Bowen Island Pub is an excellent place to check out, especially for those looking for a fun and relaxed atmosphere. While the food and drink options may not always hit the mark, the friendly staff, spacious surroundings, and live events more than make up for it.

Excellent burger, yam fries were amazing. Spinach and Artichoke dip was a game changer. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place

Beautiful location, friendly staff and great food. Was a very enjoyable meal for our group of 10. We did not have a reservation but they were happy to find us space. On the patio even!Highly recommend and will eat here again if ever back to the island.

Stopped in here during a day trip to the island. Ordered the fish tacos and they were probably the best I've ever had. The pieces of fish were very generous and the toppings were delicious. Thank you for a great meal!

What an amazing place just a minute drive from the ferry terminal. I have been here 3 times already. The food is amazing , servers are super friendly. They have nice open patio.They have an extensive menu and everything tastes so good. Good selection of tap beer.Honestly I want to give them more stars as this place is dog friendly and they just bring out a big bowl of water right away.

We were seated within a couple of minutes and the staff ensured the table was cleaned before seating us. For food, we tried the Hipster pizza and yam fries here and both were top notch! Pizza was topped well with plenty of cheese! There are vegan / vegetarian options too.The only downside was it was a little pricey overall but maybe I'm nitpicking since it's on the island.

Friendly and fast service, shaded patio, and decent food but the fries seemed old and double fried. We got the fish and chips (w/fries) and chicken strips (w/fries), the proteins were great but the fries were just bad. Also, the ice water was served warm on a hot day. Can’t say I will be back but if you forgot to make reservations elsewhere this is a good place to go.
