Loved this hotel. The room was spacious, the staff was very nice and we loved being able to tour the ice hotel. It had a resort type feeling where there were a lot of amenities and food at easy access. We'd love to visit again.

The room was large and comfortable. We were there mid-week to visit the tubing park and ice hotel and were staying for 2 nights. The website bragged about multiple dining options. But the only place to dine was the miserable, fast foodish, greasy food, safari cafe. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, the same greasy hamburgers, gloopy eggs, and watery poutine. I write a lot of reviews and don't often complain. The desk staff didn't even know the other dining options were closed and we were sent on wild goose chases to gated dining halls and pubs with the lights out. We found the only (1) restaurant outside of the hotel which was a short drive. If the website didn't show multiple dining options we wouldn't have been so dissatisfied and would have brought some food with us. We were also give by the staff conflicting information about the times of activities. The desk staff said the hot tubs open at 8. We showed up in our bathing suits to find out it opened at 9. Little things that add up to make it a less enjoyable stay.

Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Rooms are nice and well kept but there’s no daily maintenance service. The restaurants inside the complex are (optimistically) ok. Better to take your food (specially breakfast as there are no options) and look for restaurants around (within 15-25min) to have a nice meal. I paid 290$/night and felt that it should have delivered more but I see rates from $150 which is much more reasonable for what you get.

February- Enjoyed the Premium Ice Hotel Suite, with fireplace, private hot tub and sauna. The artistry was amazing and I cried tears of joy. The mountainous views are something I've never seen before, incredible. We also spent an evening in Bora park, very fun. The hotel room was very clean, and the majority of the staff spoke english and french. There was a rush of high schoolers on a field trip and they filled up the restaurants, so we had to wait for food for a while, but otherwise no complaints. P.s. you can bring your playstation or xbox or other gaming system.

What an amazing experience! Staying at Hotel de Glace was amazing. You get a regular room to keep most of your things. Then spend the night in an igloo! 10/10 would recommend. Staff was amazing, kind, and answered all of our questions. And the food was decent as well.

Stayed for 2 nights, I give 1 star for the room, zero stars for service.Had dinner at restaurant Safari, WOW, that defines bad food. Had fish and chips from hell.As for the Bora park, what a disappointement. As a customer of the hotel who bought 2 nights 3 day package, for over a 1000$ ( no food included) in total, you expect some courtesy and service, not here. The rental counter will not allow me a floating jacket for my kid unless I pay cash (which I do not carry) or a piece of id (Iin the room). The hotel front counter was no help.So much for being a hotel customer. Will not be back..

Service was terrible . Restaurants and shops were closed . Telling us short staff but when you pay 840$ for two nights plus activities, you except more . Wifi wasn’t working well, couldn’t take work zoom calls . They rushed us to make reservations at the spa because apparently it was getting full, get there and it’s empty . Really disappointed. They’re letting something that can be so big , Go

This hotel as our contingency plan in case we don't find the ice hotel to our liking. Today, we checked in and were greeted by a welcoming lobby that exudes a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Our spacious 1-bedroom room on the 4th floor boasts a nice living room, office area, good-sized bathroom, and decent bedroom. The staff has been exceptionally sweet and kind, which has enhanced our experience here. The hotel appears to be an excellent choice for family gatherings, with plenty of winter activities available to keep everyone engaged and content.

The rooms are so clean and nice. The whole hotel is so family oriented, and the family loved it. The reception is fantastic and helped make our stay so perfect. Definitely staying longer next time a day isn't enough. You need one for bora and another for Valcartier and really enjoy the stay. Lots in the village for dining and a bit of souvineering.

Came during Ontario March Break so it was not crowded, basically no lines for anything. Purchased the unlimited pass including tubing, waterpark, skating and ice hotel. Skating was closed due to warmer weather, but the other actives are incredibly fun. Very convenient to have a room on site to rest between activities or change after swimming but there are also major drawbacks. Upon entering the room, it stank like wet snowpants mixed with sweaty socks, especially near the doorway. The smell was all over the carpet but you will eventually adapt. The bathroom, however, had a strong smell of mouldy water. The kids noticed a big spider on the wall I had to kill immediately (I think this spider was here eatting all the flies the other reviewers talked about). Did not feel comfortable at all in the room. Some questionable details like the toilet flush handle was rusted and paint was worn out from usage and the sink did not drain well. It just felt disgusting being anywhere near the bathroom. Wifi signal was frustratingly weak, it was only strong in the bathroom so I have to type this while holding my breath. Take note the food services by the hotel are awful. The only coffee available early morning is from a machine that only takes cash. All food places are closed by 7 pm and the nearest outside food is a 15 min drive away. The next night we bought some picnic-style refrigerated food from IGA and held it in the mini fridge. The gym has 2 treadmills, one didn't work and the other had issues so it was as loud as a jet engine. Overall, the hotel experience is absolutely awful but only passable if you can work around some major issues all in the name of convenience while on site. Next time I'd rather stay off site and drive 20-30 mins to experience the fun activities.
