WORST SERVICE EVER.I had a door to door rep who works with a affiliate company who was great set me up for $79 monthly on the Telus PureFibre Gig speed internet plan with a 2 year commitment. For context I am in a building with their quick connect set up so the modem is already in my coat closet.What I come to find out is that someone else two days before I spoke with my door to door rep, a Telus rep somewhere else set up a person with an account but used my exact address and unit number. Technically speaking this means I am getting free internet which is great, but I am moving in a month and that means now I have to pay over $120 for the same internet, same plan at the new address because my account isn't active.Telus refuses to take action and says that they cannot cancel his account even though I have verified my address with ID's and home purchase documents proving I lived in the current space for over 2 years. Telus does not take that as proof to verify the other person doesn't live here, and say they can only try to call him and ask him to verify his correct address. the kicker, the persons phone number doesn't work.So Thank You Telus, I am super excited to have to bay an extra $40-$50 a month for internet and thrilled to see how seriously you take it when someone uses false information (phone number, address etc) to set up accounts with you.

I cancelled internet with telus since I moved provinces (to somewhere without telus). Now, 3 months later, I am still receiving bills from telus. Each time I call, I can't reach a real person. When I do, they promise to transfer me to 'someone that can help', but it always goes back to the robo-dialer.I have spent at least 10 hours on the phone at this point trying to get help (to no avail). The one time I reached someone who seemed helpful, he immediately tried to sell me services, then when I refused, he transfered me away (back to the robo-dialer).This customer service is a total disaster for a company as large as telus. The amount of stress this company has caused me during my move is unbelievable. I just want this company out of my life. I paid what should have been my last bill. I have no outstanding amount to pay. Please, I just want my account deleted and to stop receiving bills.

But recently whenever I contact Telus for an issue or for anything, almost immediately someone at Telus contacts me to sell me something. This is infuriating. Try and buy a VoIP product from Telus. Just kidding. Don't. Because you can't. It's impossible. Agents will tell you it's a Complex Solutions product you're after but you'll never talk to anyone in Complex Solutions. Most people at Telus won't know what Complex Solutions is. But one or two will and that will give you hope. But do not hope. You'll never talk to them. You might hit their IVR tree, only accessible internally, but it will drop your call after you press 4 for SIP Trunks (the product you want, finally!) and you'll never hear that glorious IVR tree again. You will get transferred to residential, small biz, medium biz, hosted pbx, enterprise repair, goco"

Took me to collections and attempted to collect double what was owed. This is illegal in Manitoba.This company routinely ignores the problem despite being presented with direct evidence.Not only that, Telus continued to report late or missing payments" on a $0 balance in retaliation to my complaint

If the company wants to set a subsidiary like Koodo, take care of it. there is no great plans, no perks for being loyal, literally they don't value their customers. All they care is to get the money from customers.Seeing that they genuinely don't provide acknowledge the feedbacks of customers shows how badly they value customer satisfaction.

My Telus cable bill is $125 a month and the cable works on and off at best and is now off completely and the telus phone rep. said that there is telus maintenance in the area and that they don't need to notify customers as it is not our concern as paying customers. He was very RUDE and wasn't interested in resolving the issue's with Telus incompetant service. I will be moving to another cable provider as soon as possible, anyone looking for good service will do the same.

Very poor experience with their referral program. I had my parents and brother join them during Christmas time but did not receive the advertised referral rewards because I didn't send them to a specific link online, despite talking to numerous employees with my dad on the phone and telling them I was referring him. You would think it would be a simple process and they could note these things down in their system, but not for Telus. At no point did a Telus employee explain the online referral link process. They'd rather hold on to their money and disappoint loyal customers who have mobility/internet plans with them and pay them hundreds of dollars each month. The staff on the phone would often give conflicting information and what should've theoretically been a simple fix, took hours and months to resolve.
