Cancare Childcare - Scenic Acres Centre

My three children have been going here for just over a year and a half and we couldn't be happier.We left our other daycare because of some Behavioral issuesWith one of my children the staff couldn't resolve. After a very short transition the staff at cancare were able to resolve the issues that my middle child had and we've had nothing but great care, i w have never had an issue with their pickup and drop offBefore and after school program.Once when .My children come home with their hair done up in braids, Many crafts and paintingsOn The Daily. I’m so happy sending our one year old there as the staff tried really hard to make him adjust, I can tell the teachers genuinely like the kids from the way they interact with the parents and babies. Amandeep has amazing leadership and responsibilities, we were just amazed that she remembers the names of the kids when giving us the first tour! We are beyond thankful to find such an amazing team, will be sending our little boy here as long as we possibly can!

I do NOT recommend this place. I doubt the personnel's qualifications. It is located in a convenient location, and it is cheap, but they don't have any resources to help your child to develop through play. The teacher doesn't have the skills to manage difficult kids, and they don't promote a healthy environment for other kids. The food is low quality and has no nutritional value. The teacher gives candies to the kids to make them behave, which I found a very wrong approach, especially when they don't ask you if it is ok to give sugar to your kid. They don't care about children's feelings and emotional development. The manager is amiable and tries to listen to your concerns but inside the classroom is another story. After two weeks, I knew it was the wrong choice; I had to stay for three months waiting for an opening in another location; that was the only reason to stay. The picture of the white paper is one of my son's crafts in cancare. Even my son asked me why he was not doing any crafts or any activity anymore. He was in another daycare before, and the following picture is the kind of thing he used to do there, nothing special, but some paint and dedication make the difference. I never saw a teacher engaged with the kids in any activity besides reading a book. Not to mention it is dirty and messy; there is a mess at the entrance with everyone in the center shoes that is a total muddy mess. Kids don't have a cabinet reachable for their belongs.You kid deserve better!

My two kids (ages 2 and 4) have been attending this daycare for almost a year and it’s been very positive overall - Good structure, reasonable sick policies, affordable and competitive fees, great extended hours… but the highlight is the caregivers - all invested, communicative, patient, and loving.

We have very much enjoyed our time with Cancare and have appreciated all the care they have provided. My son's confidence and grasp on difficult concepts flourished this year, and we know it was in no small part to the guidance offered by the staff at the Cancare center.Additionally, we have been so grateful for the standard of care and attention to details with regards to the ever-changing protocols during what was one of the most challenging years for our world. Thank you to Amandeep for her leadership through this uncertain time.My son brought home numerous crafts and told me about his day with delightful enthusiasm - excited to tell me about the adventures he had been on!Any concerns were always met with patience and flexibility - the staff always stated their priority was for the wellbeing of the individual child first and foremost. As a parent, this is all we want to hear!In short, we were very happy with the service, standard, and overall excellence from the staff at the Cancare daycare.

Have had a great experience with both my children here. The caregivers are kind and do a lot of work with the kids. The hours are great and work well for busy families.

My son has been going to this daycare for over 3 years and I am very happy with this place. The center is always clean and organized and the rooms have a lot of natural light which is very important to me. When I first met the director I was impressed, she was professional and answered all my questions and since then every time I have approached her she has been courteous and responded to my child's needs immediately. The staff are the best part of this place, they have cared for my son like a family member would have. The people they hire are kind, caring and go above and beyond for the children. They know each child by name and care for them as individuals rather than just another number. The food is also freshly prepared *from scratch* each day. I could see the lady in the kitchen making the food everyday, there is nothing processed or brought in from somewhere else here. Is it the fanciest daycare with the latest smart technology, fancy gym instructors and flashy toys? no, and it doesn't matter to me because the people I am leaving my son with are taking the best care of him possible and I can go to work with a clear mind knowing that he is well taken care of. Would totally recommend this place to any friend or family member.

I would definitely recommend this daycare. I had my Daughter attend Cancare Childcare - Scenic Acres Centre and our experience has been very good. My Daughter enjoyed attending and the curriculum has been good (art, numbers, outdoor activities, etc.). It is very well organized and the teacher-student ratios are better. The teachers are very caring and enjoy the students. Running a high-quality childcare center. I feel very lucky to find a daycare with facilities that are so clean and well maintained. My son has been with Cancare since he was two years old. He is always very happy to go to daycare. The staff are caring and treat the children like family. Cancare provides excellent structure and programming, a lots of age appropriate activities for the children to do. The management always provides a fast response whenever I ask anything about my son. I would happily recommend Cancare to look after your little ones, mine is happy every day.

This is far from being a good daycare.My 3 kids went for 4 months and pulled them out.Baby room staff is ver nice. But they wont go outside if one have pooped because they run out of time.Oder room my son always come back with injuries and no reports. Always a all good"In the toodler room my child just never adjusted. Screaming to death not to leave him there every single day. And in front of me the teacher said. If you stop crying mommy will pick you up early... if you dont stop crying mommy wont pick you up. This is unacceptable.Rice is on the menu almost every day of the week
