A chance encounter with Doug and Susan turned what started as a negative end to a busy weekend into a deeply positive and humbling experience. We broke down far from home and Doug was there before we had a chance to take it all in. He was fast, efficient and most of all, safe. Doug's presence made us feel calm and he provided vital information not only regarding where we might stay and what our options were, but with nothing to gain, went above and beyond to help. Susan was prompt to answer all our questions even after hours and made a huge impression on us. We had a great time in Huntsville, despite all odds. Thanks in full to Doug and Susan. Incredible service - fast, skilled and very friendly. I can’t put into words how grateful I am to Doug for rescuing me. I was far from home, with a little one and a nervous older dog and he got us out of a tough spot with no damage and no stress. I am so glad he was the one who came to help. Wow these guys are amazing! Doug and his wife Sue quickly came to our aid near the end of the day in the middle of nowhere on Rain Lake Road near Kearney at the height of black fly season when one of our truck tires came off. Very professional, quickly managed to straighten out the wheel bolts, brought spare nuts to replace tire so they could load it on the flat bed then towed it all the way back to the garage in Huntsville! THANK YOU!!

It’s rare to come across people as kind, selfless, patient, and empathetic as Doug and Sue at Northern Import Towing. I was headed to a camping trip for the long weekend with three friends, and we were making the drive from Toronto to Algonquin. We had to stop in Kearney on the way to get keys from the canoe rental place, and I made a turn too quickly off the highway in the rain and slid off the road into a ditch. We were only ten minutes away from the rental place, but then would have had to drive another 45 minutes afterwards to get to our access point. Once I reversed a bit out of the ditch, we saw the damage to the front of the car and realized that our camping trip wouldn’t be possible anymore. I called CAA who referred me to the nearest open towing company, and I am so grateful that it happened to be Doug and Sue. I called, and they calmly and clearly guided me through the next steps of filing a police report before they could come tow the car. Before I could call, an officer happened to be driving by and stopped, and Doug arrived only a minute or two later. From the moment he introduced himself, he handled the situation with so much kindness and grace that I immediately felt calmer amidst the catastrophe. He took me through every step, kept me updated on any damage he recognized from assessing the car, and even went so far as to speak on the phone with my dad to explain the damage and process to him as well. We were lucky that a friend we were going to go camping with was staying at their cottage not too far away in Gravenhurst, and we would be able to catch the bus there for the weekend. Even though he likely had a lot of other work he had to do that day, Doug offered to tow the car with our bags in it to his property while we followed behind in our friend’s mom’s car. When we got there, he helped to move our bags to his personal truck, and drive it to the bus station. There wasn’t enough room in our friend’s mom’s car for all of us, so he even gave one of us a ride. This was absolutely above and beyond, and I couldn’t explain how much it meant to be shown such care on that scary and difficult day. When we tried to tip him, he humbly refused at first and only ended up taking the tip to donate to Ukraine. He gave us his contact so that we could follow up with him after the weekend and make a plan to get the car. If it weren’t for him, my friends and I would have had to turn right around and get home somehow, ruining the weekend. I’m so grateful for his generosity and would give him many more stars if I could. Look no further for services from genuine humans who care about others.

Excellent service! We were facing a very long and expensive tow and Doug was able to quickly make a suggestion that got our dead car running again! (And no, we didn't turn it off until we got home - worked like a charm!) Thank you for your timely, friendly and honest service.

Doug was incredible. We were canoeing at access point 4 in Algonquin, when I noticed I have a flat tire. We drove slowly to Kearney, and I made the call to Infiniti Roadside Assistance. They told me Northern Import Auto Supply was coming. When Doug showed up, he was professional, and courteous. He put blocks underneath my tires to my bumper and exhaust pipes wouldn’t scrape. He really looks after the small detail. He drove us close to 200 km to the nearest dealership. I would highly recommend this company to others! Thanks for your help, Doug!

I got my car stuck leaving the cottage on January 1, 2018 and Doug arrived within 40 minutes of placing the call - on a holiday! He worked quickly and was able to tow the car out of the ditch - the whole process was less than 30 minutes. He was pleasant and charged a very fair price.
