Tim has been out a handful of times to help me with various renovation updates. Always quick to come out, and works with my schedule to get the work done quickly and correctly. Great to have a dependable, friendly electrician to support my renovations.

I used Home-Pro during the renovation of my 1890 house in Kitchener. As part of my kitchen and living room reno, we had to add pot lights, rewire the entire main floor, clean out the last of the leftover old wiring in the basement, and fix the electrical connections to outside. Tim was prompt, polite, and professional, and Jason was more than willing to work with me on financing and timing to make sure everything got done when and where it needed to be. I will happily use them for any electrical work I need going forwards.

Tim updated our kitchen wiring and outlets for our ongoing kitchen reno, including bringing the kitchen up to modern electrical code standards. They were responsive to phone calls and emails, and made timely appointments. No complaints!

Home-Pro electric recently installed a bathroom fan and 3 new lights for us in rooms that previously had no overhead lighting. When they left, they said if we had time they would love a review, so here is my completely honest review.The work they did is of good quality, they were friendly and professional. They were available at pretty short notice and were helpful throughout the process.The negative is the price. Now I know electricians are pricey but what we were charged was exorbitant. They charge $99 (plus tax) to come out and give a quote. They don’t charge by the hour, they charge a fixed rate for the job and it’s crazy. We went with them because we didn’t know any better and needed something fast but I would not go with them again. Our bill was far to much for what we had done. They even quoted $300 to take down our old ceiling fan and install a new one- a job that takes about 10 minutes. We knew better than to get that done by home pro. Our neighborhood handy man is charging us $30 for that job.The people were so friendly and did quality work but I think it’s time they look at their pricing.

Tim is an exceptional tradesmen! His personality and attitude is excellent. The problem was the bill. Over 400 to put up ceiling fan. I realize Tim doesn't set the rates. Whomever does, needs to understand that 99 bucks for a show up fee is ridiculous. That said. I take full responsibility for saying yes to the job. I have learned my lesson.

We are beyond thrilled and satisfied by the amazing work and service provided by Home-Pro Electric. Tim was an absolute professional from the initial assessment all through the installation, he proved to be knowledgeable and explained all the options available to us. He was on time for both the assessment and installation appointments. Overall an excellent job and exactly what we envisioned our living room space to look like.

After coordinating the visit with Jason by email, Tim came this morning to do the installation of two new receptacles (one 15 A and one 20 A) in my unfinished basement. He was perfectly on time. He explained carefully the job and provided an immediate quote. He then proceeded with the actual job, which was professionally completed by the time he had estimated.

Tim was super friendly and knowledgeable when giving me a quote on replacing my undermount cabinet lighting. While in my home, he also noticed a few other electrical items that could need replacement (and provided a separate quote). The parts arrived quickly for my original job and Tim installed the new LED lights within days. I appreciated the email prior to Tim's arrival introducing himself (along with a picture). It felt like I wasn't opening my door to a complete stranger. I would recommend this company!

We really appreciated Tim's work. Very professional, the final bill was lower than initially planned. Great contact, will use again
