Obtained a quote from this contractor. Upon going over details, I received a late night reply that was belligerent, rude, and and at various points, incoherent. Tried to speak with the contractor about the email the next day but he was uninterested in communicating any further.

Charles and his team did a grate job on fixing the foundation of my cabin. The pricing are reasonable also Charles gives advice on reno what needed to fix. His team was working long hours to complete the project in short time.

So far, so good. I contacted Charlie about doing an underpinning and foundation job at our cottage. Took a couple weeks to get an email reply, but it was a comprehensive email with lots of info about my options. Charlie also completed a site visit, and took my call to follow up about said visit. I think people forget that contractors who don't have admin assistants are super busy and may appear to not be on the ball when in fact they just don't have a waking moment to spare. I'm happy with Charlie's responsiveness and will revise my review if we move forward our construction project with Up & Up.
