Melville Café
Food was good, but service wasn’t. It was our 1st time and we weren’t sure whether we should wait to be seated or sit down on our own. Two servers passed by and served/cleaned food at other tables and didn’t ask if we needed assistance (I work in the hospitality sector and that is just not okay) I then asked and was told what to do. They just didn’t care.

The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice but the food I received was embarrassing.. apparently this is an egg salad sandwich, maybe half an eggs worth was used on this. We are new to the area and I was really hoping that this spot would be a hidden gem..

This is probably one of my favorite spots in Cambridge. Wether you sit inside and overlook the river or enjoy their cute outdoor patio, there isn’t a bad seat in this place. Food is pretty standard cafe fair but good nonetheless. Drinks are creative and prices are reasonable. This place just gives off good vibes all around. Thanks Melville!

Amazing little café on the grand river! Located in the heart of Galt— really great and affordable. Their tea and bagels are awesome. Really nice place to work remotely from with their fast wifi and outlets everywhere. Really student centric.

Our go -to place in Galt. Beautiful views of the river and bridge. Food never disappoints, the margarita pizza is simple and delicious. Great desserts too. Gave the service a 4 star because the staff is very friendly but always have to be reminded to clean the tables and pick up dishes so other people can sit. Other than that, love this restaurant.

Have been going to Melville for couple years now, and the service is always great and friendly! The pizza and chicken caesar wrap are amazing and my go to meals. I also love the lattes and coffees. Beautiful view of the grand river and patio is great in the summer.

Ordered A margarita pizza and hot chocolate. Pizza was good. But hot chocolate was not at all tasted good. There was no sweet. We have to add extra sugar to get the sweetness, this is Kind of weird , I felt.

32° outside when I spotted a quaint cafe beside the bridge. Craving for a nice salad my stomach commanded that I enter. I'm glad that I listened to my 2nd brain. The place was refreshingly cool, spacious and very clean. Eyeing the wall menu I ordered the mixed greens salad with basil dressing along with a margarita pizza. This quieted my growling friend and put a smile on my face as I devoured the last delicious margarita piece.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff. We came in around 2:15 and the cashier politely told us that they close at 3. This was much appreciated and respectfully received. Three of had lunch and coffees. All were hot, delicious and promptly served. Great view of the river and downtown Cambridge.
