Laurel Collins, MP for Victoria

I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with Laurel on many occasions. Each and every time I've been naught but impressed. She's knowledgeable, passionate, considerate, and hard working. Further, the staff she employs are thoroughly competent. If every politician in Canada lived up to the standard set by Laurel and her team, this country would be a much better place.

Don't ask for feedback from your constituents if you aren't going to respond to them.Edit: on my second attempt, she did respond to me with a form letter. She was not particularly supportive, didn't answer any questions, but at least she did respond. Still no word to what 500

I am grateful to MP Laurel Collins and all of her assistants specially Christine. You resolved our issue with IRCC and helped us expedite the process for my wife, after 2 years of wait where the file was returned 2 times to us due to a clerical error.Thanks again and keep up the great job

A family member contacted Laurel Collins office several months ago for some much needed assistance with a federal government department. They provided no help, just more aggravation. Her assistant was dismissive and unhelpful.It also appears that this office is censoring negative reviews as we have noted some that have been removed here for no good reason. Instead of trying to rectify problems with someone who did not receive even minimal assistance, it is so much easier and quicker to convince Google to take down an honest but damaging review.This is taxpayers money being well wasted NOT spent. With an election in the not too distant future, you would expect at least some effort and improvement.And, at a salary of $16OK plus perks, this is a sad testament to where taxpayers money is going in Victoria.

I really do not understand the negative reviews, I called the constituency office and left a message. Mr. Spracket returned the call within an hour, listened patiently to my concern and provided valuable insight and advice while asking pertinent and pointed questions. Very shortly afterwards Mr. Sprackett sent a follow up email with further instructions to assist in addressing my concerns. All in we shared 6 emails in 2 days and my issue, although not yet resolved, shall be now that the proper channels and procedures are being followed. Thank you very much indeed for your professionalism and dedication.

Very helpful. The government of Canada staffers are overwhelmed. Ms Collins was able to assist me with an application that has been dragging on for many months to my entire satisfaction.
