First time going and I will be back. Nice wide trails for the main routes and very clear marked options along the way for side loops and views.

Great facilities at the base, plenty of parking, well built washrooms. Sugarloaf trail is more user friendly and Mt. Braden loop trail is more suited for the seasoned hikers

This new parking lot makes a ton of sense. It opened in 2020 and now provides a lot more parking and a washroom. It augments what used to be limited parking at the mailboxes.

I’ve always enjoyed hiking in the Sooke Hills and this new investment by the CRD is excellent! The new parking lot and facilities are a great upgrade from parking on the side of the highway. Also, the upgrades to the hiking trails themselves is a welcomed addition.

60 parking spots in this new lot at the south end of Sooke Hills Wilderness Regional Park. Great access to a massive trail system including hikes to Sugarloaf Mountain and Mount Brayden.

Convenient but the exit towards Victoria is poorly-designed (no left turn). With all that width available on the highway there should have been space for a merge lane.

Access to great array of hiking and biking trails. All start steep but part the first bit you can take relatively relaxed routes or long narrow trails to peaks
