Tidal Wave Auto Spa

Did a relatively good job but some how missed a foot and a half at the very front of my car, which is weird. The front windshield also didn't seem scrubbed and the 2 guys spraying off the cars at the beginning didn't spray my car except for the back end. I was afraid I would get scratches. The rest of the car seems clean enough and the vacuums work super well. I probably wouldn't use again because I paid the $20 for it to miss completely the front of my car.

Super super SUPER! Friendly staff! My car was dirty but now it looks like it came off the show room floor! Big thank you to Travis, Ryan and Joshua for doing an awesome job on my vehicle! 50/10 would recommend.

Every-time I’m in Rapid City I always pay a visit to get my car washed and to utilize their tools. The staff is super friendly and helpful, thank you Joshua and Morgan for your help and great advice.

I have been to car washes throughout the United States, and I can honestly tell you this is the one that is absolutely outstanding. The work is beautiful, and I get comments often how incredible the shine on my car’s paint and tires look. Customer service is phenomenal and very professionally managed. The owner operator is one of the most kind and helpful who is genuinely focused on providing excellent service. The employees wear matching color shirts and look professional. Josh, Landry, and Ryan are three others besides the owner that I have had the pleasure of meeting. All were professional and demonstrated excellent customer service skills. I give this company a five star rating. Excellent !

The first couple times I went through the car wash did a great job on my truck except for on the rear quarter panels. I told the man working the booth near the entrance and he helped me find the problem which ended up being my trailer hitch. He even followed up the next time I went through to see if it was any better (which it was) so I appreciate the great customer service. The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a sign advising customers to remove anything in their hitch receiver.

Have visited a competitor and my front license was always bent. Later learned the attendant needed to turn off that brush to avoid this. This was time consuming at best. Tidal Wave had an attendant Landry that brushed the front and back of my car that eliminated this problem. Josh the cashier also was helpful in pointing out upgrades and monthly wash plans. Excellent wash with free vacuum and free glass cleaner which I always try to use.

Great employees. Car wash is fantastic. My truck is so shiny and clean. I also asked if I would be able to bring my car when I take it out after winter through the car wash. It is a Grand Am and a lot of car washes have signs that have a list of cars that can't go through and Grand Ams are one of the cars. The attendant said you bet we have safety measures we take so nothing will be harmed. That's customer service. Instead of turning cars away find a way to to take care of them. I wouldn’t give this rating due to the cleanliness of the vehicle. The wash did the job. But at the end of the wash as your about to leave. The track push forward the car like it’s suppose too, but rolled back on the track and the clamp that clamps to the front turn squeezed back. The rollers that keep the car in motion went under my back tire and it was like hitting a bump. Made the car jump up and heard grinding. According to their footage the cars back went up and down like I had felt. The guy said this doesn’t happen ever. And I believe it. I’m not trying to pull a fast one on anyone but it ground my rims on the driver side. I hoped that they would make it right. But I talked to Travis the head boss and said, “I’m for certain that we didn’t cause this because we did 400 car washes yesterday with no problems. You would know what you did. I just wanted to contact you to follow up with this situation and to let you know this wasn’t us.” He tried talking in a non irritated calm tone of voice but new he was irritated by this. I appreciate some of the words he said. And the guys that helped me out seemed nice and helpful and appreciate that. I’m a guy that is quiet and keeps to myself and doesn’t want to cause trouble or make a fuss. I don’t have money to replace rims. Just hoping people do what’s right. I’m 100% certain those marks weren’t there before, on my rims. All it has to take is one time out of the 400. And there are plenty of people that may not say anything at all. I followed all the signs and rules. $10 dollar car wash turned out to be the cost of two new rims. Recommend going somewhere else. Will update if they make it right but they said they couldn’t help me and that they weren’t the “cause”. But life goes on. Nice fancy car wash but not worth it if something like this happens to you. Which I guess happens 1/400. Go to a self care car wash where you can do it yourself just plan accordingly and know your gonna have to spend time doing it yourself. There’s some good ones in Rapid.

Hands down the best wash in rapid city! They've sprayed the mud off my truck and got it to shine, never seen it like that in a long while. thanks to the staff Joshua & Chris I believe that's what their names are...
