I had a granite countertop ordered through Home Depot. The contractor hired was MJ Countertops. MJ worked with the the sub of Crew2 in Minneapolis that took 4 months and was still not correct when they came to install. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor. It took 1 month to get measurements, 2 months to get a drawing revision, then they still cut it wrong after waiting one more month for installation. The installers we very nice and understanding but management was horrible. Management lied, said they would back the next day and then they said they has left over granite from the slab I picked out, but that was impossible due to the measurements. This was a horrible experience, management had no empathy for my situation and actually laughed at me once I said I wanted a new slab so that all 4 countertop pieces would match and she told they didn't want to work with me anymore.Home Depot cancelled the order with MJ countertops, we got a new slab and will have it installed with Credit River Granite within month of their measurement.Someone got stuck with the slab cost, but I do know it was not me.

The phone system is terrible. No followup on my installation. I called the day after, got no return call. The cuts in the quartz are off, with lots of silicone on the edges. 3000 plus order and I don't even get a return call.

Excellent customer service and we are very happy with our new countertop. Plus - enjoyed working with this smaller family run operation.Had a basement bar that several other local companies bid twice as high and didn't want to give me the time of day due to the smaller size of my project. Worked with Denise who was able to show me the granite options in my price range and installation happened the following week.

We highly recommend MJ's Countertops! They were very professional and easy to work with. We had a small project, but the beautiful new countertop made a BIG impact. The entire process was very quick!

Very Professional, works very hard to satisfy the customer, quality craftsmanship. customers service was slow to get started, but after a nudge or two they were alright.

Avoid at all costs, I have been on the stone industry 20 years and never seen such a disorganized bunch, not to mention 90% of the staff is illegal cash employees , And ownership runs multiple businesses out of the same building. Most of the employees are sifted through quickly, and only work for the company for a few weeks before getting turned over.There are so many better places to get granite in town. Just go there and save yourself the headache.

Best experience ever with MJS Countertops LLC! I contacted 7+ countertop companies carrying MSI quartz for our countertops. 5 companies got back to us with quotes, we continued the conversation with the more inclusive and affordable options. MJS responded on March 28, 2021: it was the most affordable as well as a 1-stop shop because they included removing existing countertop, undermount sink installation, stainless steel sink, and backsplash. My main concern hiring them was that I could not find as many reviews of their work, compared to other companies. I called them and they invited me to visit the shop. They are a family owned and operated company, a small team doing everything from administration to cutting and installing. I was sold when I saw them in action. I think I saw contractors coming in, I think they work for other companies, if that is the case, hiring them directly is avoiding intermediary fees. MJS measured 2 days after I visited them and installed 3 days later, on April 6 (other companies would take 3 weeks to measure and then 3 more weeks to install. I signed the contract with MJS on March 30 and countertop was installed on April 6).I was a difficult client because I had to coordinate other projects, they were amazing working with me. I was so pleased that I added the full backsplash! Doing countertop and full backsplash with MJS was less expensive than doing just the countertop (same brand and style) with another company. They really know what they are doing, and it was a pleasure working with them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A friend recommended these guys. They gave me the best price a high quality product and GREAT customer service. Installation was smooth and professional. We had some special request when they were installing and they had no problem with accommodating to make us happy. HIGHLY recommended!

Just got my basement wet bar counter top last week from MJ Countertops and they did a great job finishing the work. Julia from MJ countertops was great to work with. She was very professional and friendly. We had a time constraint to get the work done within a certain date since we had a big party planned. Julia was kind enough to accommodate that within the time limit. Cannot thank her enough. George, the installer guy, did a great job. Everything was perfect!!! We are so happy with our counters from MJ's Countertops! The service was amazing and the counters are beautiful! We highly recommend using them! Blanca answered all of our questions and was so professional during the entire process! Dan came to our house to measure and was very knowledgeable and professional as well! The install team was also so amazing. Our counters have veining and the cut literally flows perfect from counters to our island! Thank you all for the outstanding job
