Stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Gillespie Vacation House. There is everything there that you would need to make your stay enjoyable, from the well stocked kitchen, the comfortable bedrooms and ensuites, to the front livingroom with the amazing views of the Harbour! Pwner is very accessible and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend!

Very accommodating, excellent fresh home made dinner (not included), delicious breakfast, quiet rooms, stunning views. I would come back in a heart beat. Well worth the 50 minute drive off the highway.

Next to the waters, this was our most pleasant stay yet. The food was delicious and it's very close to some beautiful hikes. The mussels were fresh from the nearby farms, and the drive up there is scenic. If go here again in a heartbeat.

Our Lunch Spot - Gillespie Cafe in Fortune Harbour, Newfoundland. It was quite hot and we had Juni with us. We could not leave her in the car while we grabbed lunch so we asked the staff if we could put one of the tables & chairs, from their very sunny deck, out under a shade tree. They were very accommodating.We had a grand view of the harbour (Canadian spelling) while enjoying homemade pea soup and baked spaghetti. That was topped off with a nicely browned, crispy edged, warm partridge berry cake topped with vanilla sauce and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was delectable.iPhone Photography
