When I was a teenager, I was sent there because I was homeless. The staff abused me verbally, and made me clean for hours even when I had fever, and should of been in a hospital. They made me do everyone's chores, and always tried to get a reaction out me. I never reacted, so on my 18th birthday they made me cook, for the entire household, and clean after they were done eating. They would have meetings we were forced to be in on time, but it was only for aboriginal people. So, the black, and with tenants had to wait in at teh kitchen table for hours.. as they spoke privately to the other women. They took most of our money, we only had $20 left for personal needs per month. The day after I turned 18, they lied by calling my school, and telling I was out with friends when I missed school (even though I was home extremely sick, cleaning for them for hours) I was kicked out of school, and my credits were taken away. When I got home, they told me to pack my things, and a van was bringing me to an adult shelter. Don't go to this place, if you're not aboriginal.. even if you're white they will mistreat you. They only kept me until I turned 18, because it was illegal, and not to, and the City made them.

It sounds like a decent place for women that have no place to go, they'll be safe here. The place I've heard from people there is that they're really tight on the rules. However, we are in the middle of pandemic. If you get in there and you need it take it. Good luck
