Friendly Welcoming and Preaching that is Awesome

I know nothing about this specific denomination or even the religion this church preaches. I actually never got passed the front door. As I attempted to stand under the canopy near the front door on a rainy day, and I was greeted by a shrieking alarm. I found this to be shocking, especially of a church. I understand the context of the downtown environment, but these measures seem so aggressive and very much opposite of what I anticipated a church to be. I'm disappointed, and I hope the individuals or groups responsible for these choices take a moment to consider what it means to be a good person.
