When it was my time to buy an engagement ring I worked with him and gave him a concept my fiance wanted - antique Victorian with a non traditional center stone (tanzanite).. and clearly by the picture he knocked it out of the park. 100% custom work, high quality stones, and nothing but compliments from all who see it.This is the only place to go in rochester, period. I took my moms ring here a few months back. It was originally purchased back in the 80’s. It needed some repair and my mom wanted me to bring it there because that’s where she purchased it. So I did. It was done pretty quickly. I needed the prongs around the diamond replaced. It was like $500. I proceeded and got the ring back. About two weeks later the band broke at where the sizing was done.( it wasn’t sized for me when the prongs were repaired) I was broke then ( I had used all the money for the prong repair) so I left in in my jewelry box. I brought it today to another jeweler. They told me I way overpaid and that the repair that was done wasn’t at all acceptable. The prongs were already cracked (which I only wore it two weeks)and it looked like the gold was just “globbed” on top of the prongs. Which they showed me with a jewelers loop. So I don’t really know what to do with this situation. I ordered a whole new band which will cost $600 from the new jeweler. So now my gifted ring is up to 1100.
