We took in very large organic chickens. They were in the midst of doing another large order of very small chickens. The teenage boys in receiving were horsing around, dropping and kicking a couple of my own chickens as they bled out, laughing then stopping when they noticed I was watching.We received back very small birds, and are convinced that they mixed up our order, although we were given multiple assurances that they did not. We had taken birds in from the same flock/birth day several months earlier, and those had came back twice the size after processing. Saying that ours were the only hens processed that day was a lie, pure and simple, as I observed other chickens there, not just turkeys as they claimed. Whether or not they kept our birds for themselves on purpose I cannot say, but I will never go back.Stay away!

Make sure you have time when you plan your trip it's pretty much a whole day event unless you live around the corner drop off early in the morning pick up late in the evening

Polite, respectful and hard working people. Not an easy business to be in on a daily basis, we needed to be back to deliver the vehicle rented on time. We were helped out immediately and enjoyed meeting several of the people who obviously help Southwestern Ontario Farmers with a very important part of getting our product to the consumers. #localfoodconversation

We've been using them for years. They do a great job with our birds. Very happy.

Quick, efficient, humane. While some might find the fact they are drive through style and hang and begin processing right in front of you to be a bit offputting, I like that it assured that my turkeys had a quick and humane death with very little time of stress. Despite being the week of Thanksgiving, I got my birds back processed and weighed later the same afternoon and they were very reasonable as far as price. All in all, a happy customer here.

I'll give this place 5 stars because I couldn't find one fault. We booked in 6 weeks prior to kill. It's very interesting how efficient these folk are. You need to check in at the office first and they give you a card with what you have, and how many you have. Then, you line up in your vehicle(arrive early) and drive right up to the unloading dock. You put your crates up on the dock, and they immediately hang them on moving hangers and the process begins immediately. Not for the faint of heart! Within 15 feet of hanging, they are killed, and rotate right along to the picker/plucker where you can no longer see them. They put their gloves on the hangers between orders, and each order is given a number. They also leave quite a bit of space between the orders. We were 1 of 56 orders! There is a washing station for your crates. We dropped them off at 10 and picked them up by 4. You pay (cash or cheque only) and they wheel them out in a big metal bin for you to load. They have been chilled, wrapped, and inspection stamped. Super efficient! We had ducks and they were $5.50 a bird. They get my vote!!

Great friendly people. My son and I dropped off our chickens for the first time, my husband usually does it. They were very helpful and patient. The two young boys that were unloading the chickens from the crates were very quick, efficient and business like.

Have used them on multiple occasions for processing Ducks and spent hens. Have never been quite satisfied with the appearance of the final product. Just don't have the attention to detail with pin feathers, wing feathers etc. That I would give if I could do it myself or what I am finding elsewhere.

took in my roasters, left with 8 less than what i went in with. They claimed they didn't make the mistake and that i counted wrong. On top of that over half of the ones i got back were very small, half the size of what they should have been. They claim no mistake was made. Also witnessed inhuman behaviour.Would never use them again!!!!!!!!!!
