We loved the baklava from Zako bakery. It's a small business and easy to miss. Essentially it is a single long counter with a variety of delicious baklava. The establishment was clean and in good repair when we visited.The owner helped us without delay. He explained that the bakery is his passion, and he also pays the bills with painting and plaster work. He takes time with his customers and treats them like old friends. You can tell he really wants you to love his baking.We had the 1lb variety box. The baklava is sold by weight. Each piece is a small bite of perfection. A lot of baklava is overly sweet; but this establishment ensures the baklava is balanced with crisp pastry, earthy nuts, and sweetness. We loved every mouthful.I recommend trying Zako for a sweet treat that pairs perfectly with an espresso or strong tea.

The most delicious cheese kunafa and baklava ! So delicious, melts in your mouth and not overtly sweet ! The lady working at the store was so nice and offered me a free pieve of baklava ! Please support this Syrian family owned business !

Fresh and crispy baklava that wasn’t overly sweet so you could really focus on the texture and the nutty flavours.Amazing selection. Items are sold by weight which makes it very easy to try a wide variety.

The baklava is good and not too sweet. Tried a good variety and was happy with all of the options.The girl behind the counter was super friendly and even offered samples.Hope to be back soon to try more items!

It’s a small store but neat and clean. The sweets are fresh have tried few sweet from them and loved it. Sweet like kunafa u need to call and check if they have it because there are time they don’t make.

Very friendly owner and good variery to choose from! We ordered an assorted mix and they were all very delicious. Good quality dessert and one of the best baklava I've had so far! :)
