Enduring Promises delivered on their promise to make our event as stress free as possible when it came to finding a caring and professional officiant on such short notice. Thank you for sending an angel in the form of the rare and radiant Ms. Sharon McKenley, whom we will never forget. With understated sincerity, humour, and sympathy, Sharon conducted our late August wedding ceremony. Despite the hiccups that come with wedding planning, a hard to access location, and having to wait on two very nervous people, she added the grace necessary to make the moment eternal. She let us read our vows, provided a tissue when the moment called for it, and let the situation unfold naturally. Brian was not only spectacular during our ceremony, but he truly provided the support to make sure that the ceremony would go just as planned. Not only was he able to walk us through, he provided direction for our rehearsal as well as got into contact with our vendors to smooth out the details for that day as well. He was honestly so pleasant and although we were not sure if we wanted an officiant or to do it with a priest at a church, after meeting with him, we were completely confident that this was a choice we were going to be okay to make. I cannot say enough to convince anyone that he was as amazing as he was, but I can assure you that if you're going with Brian for your big day, you're in very good, experienced and sincere hands!The tools that they provided us to map out our ceremony was so easy to use, and the options provided to also help you were also very good themselves. There are a lot of things that you wouldn't think about when putting together a ceremony but with what Enduring Promises provide as a outline that you basically build a ceremony on, it was just easy peasy!Enduring Promises got into contact with us after our Venue let them know that we were interested in an officiant from them. Mike Van Slingerland was a professional, well-organized & vibrant officiant. When we got married, we wanted someone to keep things light & endearing but also to guide us through the process. Mike gave us every tool to succeed. After our first meeting, he provided us with example scripts of ceremony, readings, etc. to help customize and make our ceremony easier to organize. He answered any questions we had and we felt well-prepared and organized on the day. Upon our second meeting, we went through the script and he suggested/edited and explained how the ceremony would run. Everything was clear and organized. He also has a warm personality that we wanted for our officiant. Professional through and through!

Sharon McKenley was our officiant for our wedding, and let me say she was such a dream to work with. She was extremely professional, organized and energetic. She was so excited to marry us and we instantly bonded when we had our first meeting. From the very beginning to our rehearsal, Sharon provided us with all the details we needed to know about our ceremony, how to customize our ceremony and helped guide us through everything seamlessly. During the ceremony she was fantastic and her delivery was amazing. Everyone kept saying our officiant was so great and they loved her vibe! We cannot sing the praises of Enduring Promises enough.Brian officiated our October wedding and was a crucial part of making our ceremony so special. Upon our first meeting, my partner and I were engaged from the start. We had a wonderful wedding but our vows ceremony was hands down our favourite part and we are certain its because we had Brian. Having been raised Catholic, planning an agnostic ceremony was completely out of my wheelhouse but he was professional and warm and the EP platform was incredible! Not only was Enduring Promises the first company of many officiant companies to respond to our inquiry, they also have great prices. My husband and I can also highly recommend Angela Manuel from Enduring Promises! She was a great officiant for our small backyard wedding. She wrote a few drafts of our ceremony for us in a timely manner. She also helped us incorporate our family and friends that couldn't physically make it to our big day through Zoom. She was a delight to have as a part of our day!

We had a great experience working with Enduring Promises. Brian Manuel was our officiate for our big day. Brian, was the first officiate that we spoke to and just made us feel so comfortable and like we were talking with a friend. At the end of our conversation, he wished us all the best and said that we were under no obligation to choose him as our officiate just because we have spoken. He advised us to choose who we felt comfortable with. After specking with a few other officiates, we did not get that same comfort level with anyone else and Brian really had stuck out in our minds as the best officiate to be apart of our day. My husband and I, are from different religious backgrounds and wanted to do one ceremony avoiding having to choose between each others religion. Doing a non-denominational ceremony and building it in the console gave us the liberty to create a meaningful ceremony while incorporating religious elements from both sides. Brian even made the effort to do a rehearsal ceremony the night before the wedding at our wedding venue for our families. Since neither side were very familiar with a non-denomination ceremony, the rehearsal allowed the families to understand their roles, the flow and movement of the ceremony which prepared everyone for the wedding day. This evening Brian also kept our vows and marriage license so on the day of we had no stress, we simply just needed to be there. We have received so many complements on our ceremony from our guest, which we have Brian to thank for that. Overall, it was a pleasure working with Brian and Enduring Promises.

When choosing an officiant make sure you choose Mike Van Slingerland! He made our ceremony and rehearsal super fun and energetic and had all our family and friends laughing. He was also very professional and is super knowledgeable. You will not regret choosing him!

We waited 30 years for our big day. Enduring Promises made everything easy, they were quick to respond, helpful and very knowledgeable. Our officiant Marilyn Sapsford was amazing she made our special day so much more for us. I highly recommend her and Enduring Promises!
