The Fab Shop

When setting out to find someone to design, fabricate, and install a custom boat launch, I met with every welder/fabricator that I could. Of all those that I interviewed and met with for a site survey, Yan was the only one that was able to walk me through his ideas for the project, and give me a solution to each challenge that it presented. Every other fabricator I spoke with would walk me through the first two or three steps and then present a problem that I would need to find a solution to on my own! Yan was so creative and enthusiastic about my project, that often when we spoke about specific details, he would give me several different options, and let me know the pros and cons of each. The end result was an absolutely perfect solution for launching my boat, it is an excellent blend of function and style. Yan was dedicated from the start to not only have the boat launch be incredibly functional, he was also determined to make sure that it would fit well with the aesthetic of my property. I very highly recommend Yan and The Fab Shop, he is not only a very accomplished welder and fabricator, he is an artist and a problem solver. My husband and I are proud to display our new metal sculpture commissioned from The Fab Shop in Victoria. For years I had been looking for a piece that would showcase our home, but had never found anything personal enough. When I asked Yan to design something that was representative of us, he was very respectful of my ideas. He asked specific questions and offered options on material, size and finishes. The finished product was a piece of art that was exactly what I imagined and much more. It was the perfect wedding anniversary gift. Yanerick was fantastic to work with on the steel project for my daughter's patio. Excellent craftsman, and honest business person. Highly recommend to anyone wanting metal work and art work done. Yanerick added features that made the piece even more functional and with good aesthetics. His advice and creative ideas, combined with superb metal working touch and paint job resulted in a highly satisfactory outcome.
