I'm a rookie fisherman, I came in the store looking for a fly rod and a reel, they were very friendly and help set me up quick with everything I needed, they even answered all my stupid rookie questions, super helpful. They made my entry into fishing super easy. I would recommend this store to my family and friends.

The new ownership team is fantastic! Exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. They are bringing in lots of new products at competitive prices since taking over in the fall. Everything you could want from a local shop and even without the smug attitudes that you sometimes find in these stores. Nick and crew are welcoming to beginners and experts alike.

I recently bought some merchandise using their online store, but I had some questions about some of the items and when I asked via messenger, they responded immediately providing excellent customer service! Great shop, great people, and I look forward to getting more gear from them in the future. Kudos!Update June 29 2020:Once again fantastic service. I had some specific specifications for a rod, reel, and line combination for a light setup for backpacking. As always, they were attentive and put together a package to meet my needs within my budget.The new website and online store is really good. Easy to find what you're looking for and a great shopping experience.

Hatch Match'r Fly & Tackle
Decided to put the fly rod away due to unfavourable winds the other day and pick up a spinning outfit. Nick set me up with the gear and a few lures. I went out to the Fraser and was amazed how well the rod cast. Within 10minutes I was into pinks and hooked up 7 in less than an hour and took two home.

Customer service with online orders is outstanding, I messed up an order and the same day I got a call and the staff helped me out. I’m amazed on how fast they got my order delivered as well. I will definitely be making online orders from this company in the future. Thank you for all the help.

Stopped in here on my way home from work one day about a month ago. They were helpful, friendly, and had a great selection of flys and tackle. So I recommended the place to a friend who needed a sturgeon rod spooled with new line and she also had a great experience, not to mention got what seemed like a great price.
