Victory Church of Moose Jaw

Not a bad church all in all. Great worship with fantastic sound! Friendly people and very up to date and nice surroundings.

From the first time I came here I felt welcomed with open arms. There is very strong and amazing leadership.

Very welcoming, supportive of young families, strong leadership, joyful atmosphere, solid teaching from the preachers, excellent musicians leading worship.

I attended this church once or twice a week from fall 2018 until late October 2021. This month marks the 1 year that I quietly stopped attending. The reason I stopped attending is because I had posted to the young adults group chat on a Saturday morning that my 3 year old son was in the hospital- they know that I am a single mother. No one for over 24 hours responded to that update. I then posted again on Sunday afternoon (the irony) to the group chat to say “hey, I’ve been attending this group since it’s inception, I have brought others into this group, and not a single one of you responded at all even so much as “hey we’re praying for you” never mind a coffee or someone to sit with him for an hour while I went home to shower” They completely ignored my message until I called them out for it then they flooded me with messages- too late.Not a single person, not staff, not pastoral staff (that I personally knew from college) no one reached out to me in the past 12 months to ask why I stopped attending so suddenly after 3 years of regular attendance, or to ask when or if I was coming back. I wouldn’t trade it for the world though becoming an atheist is the best thing that’s ever happened to me (aside from having my son). However, as a review of this church- for everything they preach, and knowing that I stopped attending after they ignored me when my son was in the hospital; I just could never really wrap my head around that.

I love this place and the people here. From the moment I walked through the doors of Victory Church Moose Jaw I was made to feel welcome and I have become a part of the activity and events that goes on here. This church is all about reaching people for Jesus, loving people and building people up. I highly recommend.
