Glacier Mountain Lodge

It is a clean pet friendly hotel. Rooms are a little dated,but given the high traffic in the area, understandable. Usually sold out to the oil line workers. Make sure to book early. Very friendly staff. Nothing hot at breakfast other than toast, but nice muffins. Not a ton of fresh fruit, which is a little surprising being in BC.

Good place run by good people. Staff are easy going and friendly.Rooms are clean. Free breakfast is pretty basic and great for a nibble before you hit the road.Plumbing is a little old so you do hear that, light sleepers may want ear plugs. Or use it as white noise, as we did.

Nice motel, newer rooms very clean with friendly staff. The continental breakfast was good and so was the coffee. My only small complaint is the beds need to be replaced all three of us found them uncomfortable to sleep in and the ac units are extremely loud. Overall a decent place to stay.

Handy on the highway but nothing to see around the motel or out the windows. Still I would stay again because the motel itself is great.

We discovered a hidden gem! The rooms are simply stated, very clean and comfortable with allthe toiletries you’d require. The hot tub was open late and a great way to unwind after a long road trip. The continental breakfast was excellent too and there is a coffee/tea station available 24/7. There is a clean lake with a beach within walking distance from This hotel that really added toThe experience, the kids could have swam there all night! We also enjoyed dinner at the floating restaurant at the river safari, 2km down the road! All of this along with the VERY friendly service and welcome from the owners makes this place feel like a home away from home. This is now our new stop anytime we’re driving through! Thank you!!!!

Accommodating and very nice , Tony was very nice to us and had a nice continental breakfast in the morning.We had our cat with us and it was very easy to check in .

Stopped to and from Edmonton for the night as I didn't feel comfortable driving straight from Vancouver to Edmonton and vice versa during winter. Staff were friendly, room was clean and had continental breakfast. The hotel has a hot tub but I didn't get to use it.

If you have to stay in Blue River this is an OK place to stay, but don't stay in Blue River if you can help it. Better rates and more restaurant options (that don't turn away family's at 5:30) in Valemount or Jasper. The room rates don't match the quality but they were fully booked with pipeline workers so they can justify it.
