Had a very good experience purchasing some jewelry. The lady employee was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Will be buying more jewelry from this company.

Terrible Customer support. Rude manager. The sales staff is far kinder than the manager that works here.Purchased a pair of earrings that broke to pieces before I even made it home. Went back to the shop to ask for a refund as I am not interested in poor quality. Was advised that they had just changed their return policy last week and would not be able to do my return as they had just decided last week that earrings will be final sale (regardless of the fact that I was sold a defective product) I was not notified of this policy when I purchased them. Nor was it written on the receipt.Common courtesy was not in effect here. Final sale notices should be written on the receipt or stated at time of purchase ESPECIALLY if it is a recent change in policy. Honourable companies would remedy that situation correctly.The manager tried to tell me that it would be too many words to print on a receipt if they listed their return policy, which is a joke.Unprofessional, and I’m incredibly disappointed with their service. Will not be returning. And I’ll be advising my friends and family to close their tab here. There are far better jewellers in town.

Recently I purchased an engagement ring for valentines day from Michael Hill at fairview Mall(Kitchener). Initially I was served by Musa.I was really glad that he had enough product knowledge plus with the incredible customer service, He really helped me to make a prompt decision of my purchase.The rest of the process was taken care by Chantelle ,a very professional ,Positive and knowledgeable team member.Everything was very well explained till end by her .I'm definitely going back to this store for my future purchases.Keep it up.

I don't recommend due to their return/exchange policy. My boyfriend purchased $200 + earrings for Christmas and unfortunately they aren't right for me. Michael Hill doesn't offer return, exchange, or even store credit. Very frustrating since we chose to support their business and they can't even give us store credit.

Michael Hill was the first place I went to find my engagement ring for my fiance, and Ana-Maria is the first person I spoke to. She was the most amazing help, and best person to help me find the perfect ring for her. She was amazing, attentive, and made the whole experience feel like talking to a really great friend. She was extremely patient with me as I was indecisive and helped me choose the best option. It made a slightly-nerve wracking experience into a great time, answering all my questions (and even questions I didn't know I had) and giving me all the information I need to make a decision, with suggestions when I was stuck without being pushy. She helped me stay on-track and within the perfect budget and wanted to make sure I was going to be able to afford the ring/style I wanted without issue - which made a world of difference. Thank you SO much Ana-Maria, you were my first and only stop and I'm really glad I had someone who made me feel like I could share my thoughts without being pushed or judged to a decision - thanks for being an awesome friend for 2 hours. I definitely won't go anywhere else from now on. :)

I went into this location recently after seeing signs about a sale. I’ve bought a lot of jewelry from Michael Hill and typically love jewelry shopping. It was my birthday and seeing the sale signs I decided to take a look to see if there was anything I wanted to treat myself with. At the location at Conestoga mall I have made some great relations with the sales staff and they’re always so nice and offer to clean my jewelry when I come in. No problem at all. So I go here and ask for my jewelry to be cleaned as I look around. The sales staff gives me a dirty look and says with a rude tone “only if it’s from Michael Hill” this frustrates me and I say “oh that’s dumb” but continue to take off my Michael Hill jewelry to get cleaned. She then gets mad that I called it dumb and says some snarky remark under her breath about how it’s not dumb. So I reply and say “I’ve just never been told it has to be Michael Hill jewelry typically you guys clean all of my jewelry” she then still mad says that that’s against their policy after covid and they wouldn’t. If she had been polite about it whatever no big deal I get there’s policies and maybe their store is more strict than the other location. But she was so rude to be during the entire interaction so I decided to take my jewelry and leave. Peoples jewelry happily cleaned all of my jewelry, checked my jewelry to see how the diamonds are doing and was super nice. I won’t stop going to Michael Hill but this location 1000%

I've bought a few jewelries from them including my wife's engagement ring, and our wedding bands. They have great quality, and good services, including after sales support.They offer certificate of authenticity for high end diamond jewelry, and even offer free stone replacement and support for high end pieces.I recommend

I am a returning customer at this location, I've bought jewelry here for many of special occasions with there life time warranties. I've always used the same jewelr and her services have been above and beyond. I am very grateful. Unfortunately my wife had brought back a pair of earrings to be looked at, she spoke to the manager Eugene who said there was nothing they could do as well treated very poorly. I've been in store with him and I too have felt his judgment and for him to be in the service industry, it's not very professional. So today on my wife's birthday, I've decided to make this gift purchase at People's in fairview mall just next to them and was very happy with my purchase and service. I hope that Eugene receives notice of this review and understands his poor judgment & services has lost there store a valued customer, plus I hope he will treat everyone fairly in the future. May I add the ladies working this store have all been wonderful and I'm sorry I won't be returning to this location. For cleaning and warranty work I have found another store. I've added a photo of today's purchase, it was perfect.

Had such a great experience here. Angela was absolutely amazing. Not pushy and seemed genuinely happy for my bf and I purchasing a ring. We went during covid and she was an absolute doll. Not once making us feel annoying for asking her to go back and fourth with rings. She actually picked this out and my bf and I were sold. Purchased right then and there. Thank you Angela for the great experience !!

I made a purchase in January 2022. I bought a bracelet I have always wanted. When I purchased it, I had informed them that my address had changed as I was putting my purchase on my Michael Hill card. I spoke to a representative on the phone to verify who I was. They took my address and told me what I needed to do to also change my maiden name to my married name.To my surprise while I was checking my Credit Karma for something. I seen a missed payment on my trans union. I never have issues nor ever miss payments.When I called. They said I missed 3!!!! I panicked because I take this very seriously and said I didn’t get any bills in the mail. Or emails.They read my address and it was still my old one. Instead of their payment department calling to follow up on a missed payment they allowed it yo go to 3 and then just slapped it onto my credit report.I will never shop at Michael Hill again for this reason. It is ludicrous that they wouldn’t call a customer. A good customer that makes many purchases.Instead they want to just mess peoples credit up. Imagine that.I have never had a missed payment on my credit ever.Thanks a lot Michael Hill.
