James L. Robinson, Notary Public since 1982

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called Mr. Robinson's office last week to set up an appointment to register a basement suite on a land title. I spoke to Mr. Robinson directly on the phone and explained exactly what I needed to do. He assured me he could take care of this and help me out. I made the appointment for yesterday and showed up at the office with the necessary documents. Mr. Robinson hummed and hawed and told me that he was really busy and that this was going to take a lot of work and that he had a lot of stuff on his plate right now. I told him that I wasn't in a rush, but instead of telling me directly that he didn't want my business, he gave more excuses as to why my request would be difficult for him to do. If you didn't want my work, why didn't you just tell me on the phone that you weren't willing to take on my job? Why waste my time making an appointment and then I show up and you refuse to help me? Customer service is obviously not a priority and he evidently is so busy that he won't do anything that might require him to make a couple phone calls. Sorry to inconvenience you Mr. Robinson, I would hate for you to actually have to do some work instead of just put a stamp on a piece of paper and charge $$$$$. Stay away!

Sent a 93 year old client to see him to do her will. He was extremely rude, condescending, impatient and short with the client.... he even shushed her. Very disrespectful! Well never refer anyone to this notary every again!

Let's you know immediately if your going in the wrong direction, we need more people not afraid to say it the way it is, he is punctual, priced right, accommodating and knowledgeable, about his profession.Thanks.

We have dealt with Mr. Robinson for years and never had a problem. No recalls, no corrections just always right. Great service.

Needed immediate assistance in a matter and contacted several Notary Publics in the area.Mr. Robinson understood the urgency and was able to squeeze us in and quickly sort out what needed to be done.His efficiency and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.When it came time to pay I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable he was.I appreciated it even more when I  later received  a quote from one of the other Notary Public I had contacted in the area  which was 7 times more than what Mr. Robinson charged.Would definitely recommend him.

If I could give negative stars I would. Tried to get my ID notirized and was told he had done it before. Handed him two government ID but he decided to use my credit card for one ID cause he had it closer to him cause he had just used it when he took my payment. When I asked about it he said it was ok and that it was acceptable to the place I was sending it to. Anyways had some papers sent back and pay a fine and get it redone somewhere else.

I have used Mr Robinson's service a number of times. I have found him and his staff to be professional, helpful and very kind.

I just used this firm to refinance my property. I have to say that Ashley was awesome. She worked so hard to get my file completed for me on time. Both her and James were a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them

Have always had timely and efficient service, great team to deal with. Easy to communicate with and would happily recommend!!

Very Disappointing experience. Came to my scheduled appointment but he left already, half an hour before the office closes. No calls or email before leaving. This is extremely rude. I came all the way form Poco to my scheduled appointment.
