Mississauga Student Residences

I want to write a testimonial about Maureen as the owner of Mississauga Student Residence but that doesn't do her justice, so I am going to tell my story instead. I was an international student at the University of Toronto who was new to Canada. I had moved into one of Maureen's residences just two weeks after I immigrated to Canada. I was young, naive, nervous and home sick because I had moved from my home country at a really young age. Maureen realized this and took me under her wing in every sense of the phrase. She gave me a place to stay in her home, brought me into her family and provided me with guidance and support when I needed it. I lived with Maureen for just about 5 years and in that time had grown from that naive boy to a graduate and a new home owner. Maureen had a big role to play in that. Maureen is not just a great landlady she is an amazing person who continually does for others. We have kept in touch till today. She is as I say to everyone my 'Canadian Mummy' “. – Jimi

MSR is a great option for any student looking for a nice and comfortable yet affordable residence. In my entire time there I always felt at home due to the lovely living environment and also the polite and friendly staff.

Our son resided at Burgess house for two years and had the most amazing experience living away from home. Maureen was kind, professional, accommodating, welcoming and reassuring.The residences are safe and well managed, spacious, very clean and well kept. I highly recommend Maureen and Mississauga Student rentals.

To the MSR team, I am writing to share my experience of staying at the Mississauga Student Residence. I lived there for 2 years and I have made lots of memories and friends at this residence. I felt like home away from home. The MSR team worked really hard to keep this place organized and clean which made me feel so relaxed and comfortable every time I stepped into the house. I didn't leave this place empty handed, I made good friends and had good experiences. I would recommend this place and give a 5-star rating to it. Also, Maureen and her team has been so supportive and gave me good advice for my future decisions. Once again, I want to thank you for everything.

I was lucky to get into the Dover residence when I applied. It's in the perfect location, with a grocery store, pharmacy, and several places to eat just a short walk away. Maureen and the team are friendly and accommodating. And overall, it's a very nice place to study and live.

This is my 1st time studying in Canada…and I got a wonderful experience in staying at the Mississauga Student Residence.The house is very decent and beautiful and the staff at MSR are so nice and professional, it makes me feel like my second home here!Also, I feel so grateful and happy to meet new friends from all around the world, they are awesome!I am very happy with the services and accommodations they provided which make my stay here so comfortable!Thank you Maureen for everything,,I absolutely enjoy living at the MSR!

Amazing place to stay. I was offered a spot in the home even though I was just on a co-op work term for school so I appreciated that flexibility. I had the Belmont Master Suite and I loved having my own personal shower, and king sized bed. It was definitely a good environment to come home to after busy days at my job. It was nice too that they provided toilet paper and paper towels, garbage bags etc. All in all I enjoyed my experience there.

I can only applaud the management of Mississauga Student Residences. As the parent of an international student, I can only say that Maureen succeeded in creating a home away from home. My son was warmly welcomed, and Maureen also facilitated interaction with fellow house members as he was very introverted and shy. He was also very happy with his room and the furnishings. I moved from the United States to Mississauga to get my PhD without knowing anyone or anything about the area. I was worried about finding affordable housing where I could be productive as a student. I feel like I hit the jackpot with Mississauga Student Residences. My two years and counting have been ideal. I have a nice room to myself. The common areas are spacious. The staff are friendly, fair, and responsive. Cleaning services are wonderful. The neighborhood has a nice suburb vibe while being conveniently close to major highways and campus. If you're looking for a comfortable home where you can be productive as a student, this is a hard option to beat.

My experience with Mississauga Student Residences was excellent. I spent two years living at one of the residences while I was in school. Maureen went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. The house was always well maintained. The neighbourhood was very nice and the walking distance to transit and nearby groceries/shops was convenient. The roommates were always friendly and fun to be around. If you’re looking for a safe, friendly place to reside while studying, I have to recommend MSR. I am grateful for the time I’ve spent there!
