Waste of Oxygen!!! I had some infrastructure put into my acreage to the tune of just under 10 grand. The contractor's work was signed off as compliant with some small noted" deficiencies by the Inspections Group. Turns out after having serious issues with the infrastructure the system was found to be installed in gross violation of Alberta Code. Do you think I could get the Inspections Group to force the contractor back to reinstall to code? Not a hope. I was told and I quote

The inspector who showed up was rushed and sloppy in his work, the inspector failed to read and respond to the details of the inspection request and subsequently showed up at the wrong time. Offered to pretend he just wasn't there instead of working with me to resolve the issue. He was arrogant and focused on blaming me for the miscommunication. Spoke to the supervisor and he Saud he would look into the issue +1 star. the owner called me to talk about the issues and I greatly appreciate that he took the time to do that.

I rely heavily on the inspections group to keep me informed of all code changes and any corrections I may need to make during construction. They are always available to help me out and as a small residential builder ,am greatly appreciative of their excellent help.
