Toxic work environment and too much politics.

Great place great staff

Went to their job fair, where they were planning to hire 50 new employees.Interview went great, lady was nice and pleasant.She says to expect a call by next Monday.Next Monday comes and no phone call. No biggie it’s Family day. On Tuesday I was a little eager so I called them to find out. HR lady isn’t at her desk so I get a message machine. Left a polite message just emphasizing that I’m excited to work and wondering if I got the job. 4 more hours go by and I realize that I didn’t leave a callback number, so I call again. No answer again... so I leave another short message with my number.Receptionist tells me that “HR checks her messages and to expect a call back by Wednesday, if not Thursday at the latest.” Alright that’s fine.Thursday comes and goes with no calls. Friday comes and goes, no calls.Is it company policy to just ignore people that you don’t plan on hiring? Huge red flag. Shows that you see your employees as disposable. Glad that I didn’t get hired because after reading reviews here that say the same thing about management, it’s clear that some aren’t qualified for the positions they’re in.Seriously, is it that hard to take 2 minutes out of your day to call someone back? Rude.
