If any electrical company deserves 5 starts, it is sharp electric. They are professional, courteous, and complete the job that they were hired to do. I was in an electrical jam today and Gerald took the time away from his busy schedule to fit me in and complete the job for me.Much AppreciatedDanny

Great service by Sharp Electric. Had an electrical issue today (Friday 4pm). Gerald came out, assessed the situation, had to go back to shop to get a part. It is now after close and he just finished the repair and saved the weekend for 15 cottagers. Thanks so much.

contacted 3 electricians to price out a new service to my house as it had to be moved to accommodate the garage I was adding.. The low price was Sharp Electric. Told him to proceed. He filed for the permit with hydro and I paid it. Months later nothing done. Phoned and spoke to secretary and also left messages on their answering machine. No response. Got his cell number and called him. Said he had not forgot me and we agreed he would complete his work by the end of October before the winter. Called me the second last week of October on Monday and said he will be in Friday starting the work. I said great and then he said he wants the monies in full prior to him coming. I said I would be willing to do progress payments. He said payment in full or he does not show. I gave him the job early May, never returned phone calls, took 5 months before he was going to show up to do the work and expects someone to pay in full almost $6000. up front. I have been doing work with business in the area for over 20 years as I also have a local business and even offered him references. His response not interested, do not have time to check. I have used other electrical companies in the area and would recommend you use them as he delayed up my garage.

We had Sharp Electric out to wire our new garage and addition several years ago. Their work was outstanding. This week, we called to ask about getting some potlights installed. Gerald arrived the same day to check on the project. Yesterday, all work was finished with some outstanding ideas from them on how to more easily and cleanly do the work. They are friendly and professional. Thanks Gerald, Nathan and everyone at Sharp for another fine project.

Gerald and his team not only did a great job upgrading my electrical service but have been unbelievably responsive and supportive when I called several times in a panic about problems that have been minor or turned out to be my fault! Tonight (a Saturday night) Gerald spent almost an hour on the phone with me troubleshooting a persistent beeping that seemed to be coming from my newly installed thermostat. And wow. I am so embarrassed ..we finally determined it was coming from an expired CO2 alarm that I had put in the garbage (below the thermostat). Anyhow, many thanks to Gerald for helping me through this!! Having an electrician that does a great job is awesome but having one that is so responsive when I call in a panic is priceless. Thank you Gerald and Sharp Electric. ❤️❤️

Polite, Fast and EffectiveSharp Electric came highly recommended by a family member in a time of need. We are first time home owners and have learned a lot in the last 24 hours after purchasing a middle aged home. We had an electrical fire in our fuse panel. I called Sharp after hours expecting and hoping for a voicemail because I did not want to wake anyone up, but a human did answer. As promised the crew showed up by 9 AM the next morning and by 4 we had our charred fuse panel switched to a breaker panel. They put up with my dogs incessant barking without complaint. I am so grateful for their hard work!!!! Thank you so much for making this terrifying experience easier.

Highly recommended. I’ve had Gerald and his team out to my house for 4 separate projects over the last year (HVAC wiring, external office wiring, kitchen and basement light re-wiring). I have always been satisfied with their work and will be calling on them for more work shortly.

Called Sharp Electric for what I thought was a super complicated issue. They were super nice and told me that it was actually an easier fix that I could do if I felt comfortable. Probably saved me a couple hundred dollars in the process!

One stop shop for electric work. Glen and his crew worked at my cottage and fixed all the issues and installed new hydro poles and panels.I would highly recommend them.
