Eclipse Coffee Roasters
This place might be the only coffee shop that has pour over. We stayed in Banff Town and could not find it, so we came here for coffee. They take it seriously. Their cortado was quite nice as well. Highly recommended for good quality coffee in the area.

Really tasty coffee! Great decaf mocha with oat milk, really tasty especially for someone who likes their coffee on the sweet side. Delicious cappuccino, especially so if you would like to choose your coffee.Ended up grabbing a few bags of coffee to enjoy at home!

Solid coffee. They appear to roast here and there’s plenty of sit down space. Latte art and foam well-executed. Pandan coconut croissant was a unique experience. I liked this location better than the downtown one - coffee was taken a little more seriously and there’s more space. Update: they also have a kids play are upstairs which was great for my toddler.

After suffering a week in Banff, finally we found a good coffee here in Canmore. High quality coffee. We had cortado and pour over. Pour over coffee needs to be ground finer for my taste, but still really good.

Cute cafe with lots of options. The baristas were very helpful and patient as we had a large order. Lots of yummy desserts and pastries! We tried the cardamom bun and the pandan croissant which were both so delicious. Coffee was fantastic and the matcha was good, just a touch more of the matcha powder and it would’ve been perfect. Great option if you’re visiting banff/canmore!

As someone who creates employee training with a focus towards customer service excellence. I can say that the staff here are experts at crafting a welcoming customer experience. Pablo and Kaja always bring that welcoming energy. There are more people I would love to mention and people that no longer work here who I am friends with.It takes patients and empathy to relate with all walks of life that come through the door. It is in no way an easy job to constantly deal with customers all day while being dedicated to great coffee.As someone who works remotely and travels a lot, I am not always around people. The small interactions I have with the staff enrich my day and enrich a lot of others who come here. The atmosphere is what makes this place special.I’ve only had one weird experience with a staff member here. Nothing rude was said, but their expression and tone said it all, you feel unwelcome and it’s an unsettling experience.With that said come for the coffee come for the staff, be polite and enjoy the atmosphere.

A 4.5 rating. Definitely great tasting coffee/ flavour profiling. The picolo is a good option for this who want something stronger tasting at a smaller volume. The pricing here is reasonable with a good discount of 50cents if you bring your own reusable cup. They also serve pastries, non coffee (fridge items), equipment, their own chocolate and coffee beans.

Warmed my Aussie heart to find a cafe and roasters like this in Canmore. It doesn’t look as cosy from the street but once you see inside it’s a lovely, bright open space with seating in the main area and upstairs is a lounge with a fireplace, more seating and a kids play type area.Great pour overs, my pour over with the Brazilian roast was delicious with a lovely dark chocolate flavour.The almond croissant was really yummy but my only concern was there were no prices on any items in the pastry cabinet (none that I could see so I could have missed it) I find that really odd.I’m any case, lovely spot for a coffee and a catch up and I loved the support for local artists paintings on the walls for purchase.Great coffee spot!

Eclipse has great quality coffee prepared by Baristas who know what they are doing. Set in a contemporary designed building which is both attractive and functional. There are gluten free options and delicious treats.
