Highly underrated, personally this is a hidden gem in the heart of Thorold downtown.I am allergic to fish, however the fries are cooked in a separate fryer. The chicken is cut from the skewer then grilled to perfection, throw in some cheese and gravy in addition to their house made garlic sauce, you have a perfect combination for a heart-warming shawarma poutine. I highly recommend trying it. Their falafel wrap and shawarma wrap were also amazing, everything is cooked fresh to order, your food is not stale. Will be coming back more often.

Thorold Fish and Chips
We heard that the original owner's family returned to the location with an original family recipe, so I sent my husband to pick up fish for dinner tonight (family of 5, 2yo twins and a 4 yo) a six piece dinner fed us all beautifully! And honestly I'm blown away by the batter, we order fish and chips in Niagara (various locations) every single Friday evening, and this is hands down the BEST battered fish I have ever had. Even better-- all three kids asked for seconds and thirds--Well done! And thank you so much for bringing it back to share! I can't wait to order again next week with my parents!

Fast service, super kind and hard working staff. Great quality food; I usually don’t even like fish but I’ll eat theirs. Over all really positive environment and very sanitary (if you look for that kind of stuff). I don’t know how anyone could say anything bad. New management has completely turned the place around, ive never seen it look so good.

new owners now and their burger (dry, no condiments, no toppings other than lettuce because thats apparently just how it comes??) gave me food poisoning :< this restaurant used to be incredible and i suggested it to all my family and friends now i hope that no one ends up going because of me

A great place for food in the Thorold. The popcorn shrimp, pickles, and fries were amazing. Exactly what you'd want. Next time we will try the fish and chips but after eating those things we assume it's just as good if not better. We would avoid the burger as it was just mediocre.

The fish was all right. Not the greatest I've had. But I'm kind of biased being from Nova Scotia and used to eating fresh fish. The atmosphere of this place was a real downer. The owner sat in front of his laptop and stared at it all the while I was there. The girl who did the cooking was very timid, as if almost afraid to be working there.. 1st and last time I will ever visit

New owners they just opened yesterday. I grabbed a hot dog and fries! Fries were great and so was the hot dog. Very friendly family working. Would recommend trying it out. Food didn't take long

Went in on their third day of being open. Service was fast and friendly. My order was ready for pickup when I got there and the price was reasonable for what I got. I'll be going back - possibly tonight.

Fish and chips is one of the best I’ve had in the Niagara region. Very light batter and the fish burger is an excellent choice as well. Everything made fresh, so you have to wait a bit.

Thorold Fish and Chips
Have never stopped in before. We all decided to eat in as they have some seats. We ordered a haddock family meal for 4 adults and we had leftovers, lots of fish and fries. Wasn't a fan of the coleslaw. Table was dirty, so I requested a wipe down. Food was brought to our table and we all enjoyed it. Thanks!
