I've gotten parts over the years here and there from Blenkhorns and other places in the Colchester area, but the last two times I've dealt with Blenkhorns have been my last. The first time was over two rear brake calipers for an 06 Mazda, they were leaking fluid and were the not the proper calipers...tried to return them and they accused me they were damaged from when I purchased them from there(didn't have a chance to have them even put on) so I accepted that and let it go.Almost two years had passed and I phoned for a front knuckle for my 08 VW golf city. I am very kind and understanding especially with customer service related calls/encounters because I've been there as most of us had, I phoned at almost closing time as I live in HRM the past year for work, they let me know there was one in good condition on the shelf ready to go, and a couple more in the yard not taken apart yet. I was pleased to know they had Saturday hours until lunch time. (Great aspect to this place). Now I had my friend who lives in the Colchester area go and pick it up for me to save the drive(over an hour each way which would've been a waste) as I was headed that direction tomorrow(Sunday) afternoon anywho. He tried and they eventually told him the parts were no good and not salvageable. Fine. But when I phoned to confirm this as I've been confused as to why I was told less than 24 hours prior that everything was good and ready to go...I was greeted with an extremely rude man on the other end of the line(not the same guy as the day before). Once he realized what I was asking about he went on to tell me it was a used car spot and they weren't aware until today that the parts were garbage." However when I questioned how they didn't know (when it was supposedly on the shelf) which should've been in ok-useable condition if it made it that far with a price of $50.00 +tax...again he spoke to me in an extremely condescending tone that made me think why I'm even bothering right now with the phone call

Huge inventory, they have almost anything you could want or need. Quick servive in and out. Wiuld highly recommend.

Bought an engine last week, before purchase buyer asked if it was in working / running condition. They agreed that it was. When In fact it was not. They took off the most valuable part of the engine (the high pressure oil pump) which is housed inside the engine. Likely to resell separately. So they knowingly sold a none-working engine. Employee on the phone was useless. From one business to another this is NOT how you treat a customer that has a fleet of vehicles they maintain. Word of mouth goes along way.

Horrible customer service had a car listed for sale on multiple sites, when I contacted them they informed me they sold it awhile ago. No apology for the waste of time or anything and they still have the car listed for sale. If your gonna sell cars you need to stay up to date on your own inventory. Very disappointing customer service...

Poor customer service from frontline staff, no issue with the car parts. It's the terrible customer service this review is based on.

Good clean store, lots of good affordable parts and friendly knowledgeable staff

My brother and I have always dealt with Blenkhorn's and we have always had excellent service from them. The customer service is 5 star, the quality of the parts are 5 star, the prices are 5 star (MUCH more reasonable than their competitors), the delivery time/cost is also 5 star.We are in no way related to, or acquaintances with, this company and we live 2.5 hrs away. So in my opinion whoever writes bad reviews is obviously trying to discredit them. If someone has issues with the service at Blenkhorn's obviously didn't call them to discuss because their customer service is excellent. Their customers are #1. So FIVE stars all around!!!
