Glovertown Ocean View Suites and Cottages

We stayed in unit 10, pet friendly. Upon entry, we knew it wasn't going to be suitable for us, however, we had nowhere else to go. The staff did their best to try to accommodate us for the following night, however, we left bright and early. The space was clear, but it was far too small to have a family of 4. There are no bedside lamps, we couldn't get the TV to work and the beds were very uncomfortable. There was also a dog staying in the unit next to us, he barked and howled at everyone who passed by, I don't think this was addressed by the staff.We would not stay here again.

The cottage was very clean and quaint. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Glovertown Ocean View Suites Cottages. Thank you so much Lisa and Donna.

I loved this place. Quiet and tucked away. Right on the water's edge with local amenities close by and very friendly. If you are travelling across the island of Newfoundland and want to break up the long drive from Port Aux Basques to St. John's, then I highly recommend that you check this place out.

Horrible experience. If stay there only book 1 night to see if like first. We booked 4 nights paid for 4 nights stay for only 2. Left because the beds were horrible woke up in awful pain from sleeping in them. When told ownership that i would like 2 checkout earlier because its to unconfortable im suffering in to much pain they said they werent going to refund the days i paid in advance. At little over $250 per night i expected a nice comfortable place not beds and furniture from 80s. This was the first time ive ever had a place keep my money that i paid in advance . i wouldnt have kit picked thie but since the place kelped over $500 on me i will. Got there and there was a bunch of sand in juccuzi they said was clraned but wasnt if sand is in there and a fair bit. First time ive ever got a cabin, hotel or motel that never provide mini shampoos and soap had tge go buy when got there and realized they didnt have. Couldnt make a coffee there. No sugar or whitener and coffee maker was to dirty to use. These are little thing but shows how cheap the owners are. These are normal thing for everywhere else youll get for a night. I will never consider giving another try. With my issue not once did owners say im sorry you had rough night. 1st was which bed u sleep in. This shouldnt matter they should all be good beds at $250 a night. Than she said well i found them good. These are not réponses of someone who belongs in this industry or cares about customers. Ive been home for 3 days now and still in major pain from there beds. If your considering staying her dont drive past save your money. Buyer beware with this place. This is basically a cheap motel with name cottages on it. Hell ive stayed in cheap motels that were 100 times more comfortable.

Had to stay here for a few weeks while visiting the area. Loved staying in a fully equipped room that let me feel more like having my own cottage than staying in a hotel. I could come and go as I pleased and entertain a friend or two if need be. Out of the way location with great ocean view. A little out of date but they were in the process of renovating some of the rooms while i was there. Hopefully ill get to see results of that next time i stay in Newfoundland.

My family and I stayed at the Marina building not the one that the address says. Gave you everything you needed for cooking as it looked like an apartment. There's a Foodland just down the road where you can get all of your food. There was Wi-Fi but it had a very poor connection and was slow when it did work. It was a bit misleading when our room was supposed to had two bedrooms and two queen beds but one of them was a pullout couch. The pullout beds were very uncomfortable with bad springs. It's for sale which can explain some of it. There's was a small deck but no chairs which was annoying because it had seemed that other guests had taken them. A decent place to stay.

Nice quiet place. Currently for sale. Needs a little maintenance. Multiple bulbs not working or missing entirely. Good location. Found it to be quite clean. Restaurant is closed so you need to bring all your own food to cook. Foodland is 2 mins away.

Such a pretty little place with clean cabins and everything you need. We had cabin 10 that had a beautiful view of the bay and a great firepit area. It's peacefully quiet at night and the pool is clean and relaxing.

Very small dated cabins, dated pool, but for the price and the view it’s awesome
