Had a pizza, lemon water. Busy day, too busy to eat. Why not go to the kal, enjoy my first meal of the day, enjoy my Saturday, kick back and relax with company and have some pizza right?! Mistake! We Could not stop having stomach pains after, we have never seen the toilet so much in our life! Ugh.. will not visit or eat there again. Do your cooks have food safe? Something that lets them know how to prevent food borne illness? Cause omg am I ever sick!!!!! Also waitress need to keep up with cleaning the place was filthy, one little swipe with a dry rag is not wiping the table down! First visit there and now I know why people told me to stay away I should have listened to the vernon rant and rave page

I have only been to the kal a couple of times and have had two of the best servers so far. Izzy and Lindsay and sorry I don’t know the proper pronunciation of there name but they were so amazing and the best so thank you so much.

Stopped in for lunch on a somewhat rainy cloudy day. Had the soup of the day and the tacos. The soup came with crackers and garlic bread. It was very delicious and an ample serving size. My friend had the flat bread. It was large in size and very tasty. Tried all the taco choices and they did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable and service was excellent.

I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately the service was horrible. No cutlery brought to the table, no water refills, no napkins, everything had to be asked for. The food was decent but not good enough I’d come back for more.

I'm disappointed. It's usually my favorite place to eat but last night the food was terrible! We had to send back our chicken nachos 2 times!! The 3rd time we got them they were still not great but ate them anyway as I didn't want to wait on food anymore! The male server who brought them 3 times wasn't friendly, he didn't ask questions, nothing just dropped the nachos and left! At least our drinks were great! And the girls were great!! But the FOOD HAS GONE DOWNHILL SINCE IVE BEEN IN!!I'm only going in for drinks and atmosphere only for now on! The food is a very huge disappointment for price!! You want what you pay for! You want the cooks putting there heart and passion into cooking

Great pub. Food and service has always been good. Great wings! Had pizza last time. Don't personally recommend the bread sticks but the pizza was good.

Went for lunch on December 20/22 with my lady friend, she wanted to take me out for a meal before she went out of town for Christmas, so we went into the pub, and ordered coffee because it was so cold outside,then we ordered our meals.. she hadA Beef Dip and fries, and I had Chicken Tenders and fries & gravy, there were only two girls on staff that day, the Bar Tender, and one girl on the floor, it was Maise she was so busy that Stephanie,The bartender had to help her by delivering the ordered food to the table's, the food was great, I got so much that I had to take some home with me,another good meal at the Kal Pub...

It's my first at the kal in a couple of years. I was very pleasantly surprised given their frequent closures.We went there for dinner. Their nachos and pizza are very underrated. My girlfriend and I shared a small pizza and regular nachos after a day at the beach. It really hit the spot and was more than enough food for two hungry people. The Kal's kitchen in general is very underrated.They have hand sanitizer on every table and qr codes on every table for the menu.Our only suggestion is to list the prices for everything and list non-alcoholic drinks.This bar is usually the core of Vernon nightlife for folks in their early 20s. Darts, ufc, deer game, etc. The only time it gets a bit much is if they have a band as it gets impossible to talk inside since the venue is a bit small for a band.Overall, an excellent sports bar in Vernon. Staff was friendly too and let us move tables on the patio!
