It's a nice, clean, little quaint environment. However, children are loud, and not told to quiet down (any other library I've been in across Canada you're told to shush), the computers are first-come first serve, and you have children playing games on them, when people may need them for more practical purposes. I think there should be built in timers on the computer, or you should have to book them. Very annoying. The only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 is the tidiness of it.

This was my first time at this library, I came hoping to find a new quiet place to study away from home. The librarians were continuously talking loudly and there were a few grown people stomping around and one yelling across the building. I thought putting my earbuds in and playing some music would cancel out the noise but I could still hear the chatter. Had to leave after sitting there for 20 minutes because of the noise.I won't be coming back, and will not recommend this place to people who wish to study in a semi-quiet environment. However, the place is clean and provides nice areas to sit comfortably to study/read.

great places to sit, very modern, bright.however, not ideal place to study as the workers talk very loud, kids run everywhere, screaming.their should be a dedicated study place, away from the noiseor a dedicated childerns area, along with the librarians desk where they can talk and give information as loud as they please.

Hope everyone knows this is a LIBRARY, not a place for daycare!! Not recommend for those people who need a quiet environment to study. Here is really noisy, and children run around most of the time. Though this is a clean small library for Stonebridge neighborhood.

Staff are AWESOME very helpful and very friendly and accommodating. I'm super impressed.I was given a little tour, I had all of my questions answered and it was NOT noisy at a while I was there. There is a media room that the staff will let you study in if it is not being used (this is a bookable space- 3hrs for $50). While we were there a person was inside studying. This small library is very tech forward and I'm very impressed. There is a separate room, closed off with doors, for the little ones. There are some negative reviews regarding noise. This library is in a family neighborhood, it was not noisy when i was there, and if I was there trying to study, I'd ask when are the quieter times of day and plan accordingly.Parking is free, bike racks are out front. This library is very accessible.I'm so happy we have this little gem of a library within our Stonebridge community!

This is a lovely neighbourhood library branch. As per Covid regs things are quiet. You can still get books, movies and games. You can use the computer for an hour - if you print fewer than 20 pages it's free for the time being. You can use the washroom. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely space. Very welcoming. There is a cosy fireplace you can curl up next to (the staff will turn it on, if it isn’t and you ask). The Children’s area is enclosed away from the study carols, the reading chairs and fireplace are across the library from the children’s area. As other reviews mentioned, if you bring a friend and have a quiet visit, no one will shush you. I haven’t ever noticed it being loud, but it isn’t as silent as the university libraries. Noise level about on par with any other public library of its size across western Canada. Bonus points to Page (great name for a library employee!) who helped me look up reference material for my current project.

Nice place to study (especially for finals), but some workers chitchat pretty loudly which distracts me from studying. I don't often listen to music while studying so I couldn't really avoid the noise. They laugh really loudly and I hope they keep their voices on a library volume as expected from a public space. Ssshhhh.
