I first met Dr. Weins in my early 20's, when I booked a free consult to see if I could obtain eye surgery. When I was little, I was diagnosed with myopia and stigmatism. I have been wearing eye glasses ever since I was in Kindergarten, and have been wearing contacts every single day since High School. Although I was comfortable with wearing eye glasses, and was very used to putting on contacts everyday, I knew I wanted something different for myself, but didn’t have very many options due to my extremely high prescription (I have yet to meet anyone with a prescription worse than mine). During the first visit, I was advised to wait several more years for my vision and my eyes to stabilize in order to be a right candidate for Visian ICL.I waited 6 years before I decided to visit Dr. Weins again. When I did, I was advised my vision had indeed stabilized. Went through several tests during a few months to monitor if I was the right candidate for the surgery. Visian is not like Lasik or PRK, and because of this, I felt anxious about making a life-longing decision. My friends and family were nervous for me, and truthfully so was I. Until, I encountered a co-worker, who had gotten his eye surgery through Dr. Weins. He said his surgery was “life changing”, and did not regret it for a second. In fact, he said it was liberating. With his in mind, and having the confirmation and reassurance of Dr. Weins, I decided to book the surgery.Within 4 days of my surgery, I went to MPI to update my license. There, I did their eye test, and passed with flying colors. I felt scared to be able to drive on my own. I simply, was in disbelieve I was behind the wheel with no contacts or glasses, and had a new license less than a week of surgery. If I could say anything about the surgery and my life, is exactly the same thing my co-worker said to me. It’s life changing". I considered myself to have a disability

I could not be happier with how smoothly my procedure went with Dr. Wiens and his amazing team. I felt comfortable from the moment I walked in and am so happy I decided to have my eyes done there. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

Highly recommend Dr Wiens, its been 5+ years since I've had laser eye surgery and I recommend it to anyone that is wearing glasses and looking for the change. It worked out great as they have a payment program or had at the time to pay over the course of 2 years with no interest. Yes there was pain for the first week of healing, but after that it was gone. Waking up everyday being able to see now is an amazing feeling. I had been wearing glasses since grade 1 and contacts since grade 6 my eyes were at at a 3.50 I believe when I got the surgery done. I choose to do it at that time as I had a bad infection in my eyes from over wearing my contacts and had to let my eyes heal. 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Wiens and his staff were incredible!! I highly recommend anyone to go see him for any eye surgery. He is a wealth of knowledge, conservative, passionate about his work and has a ton of experience. He answered any questions I had. Was very helpful. I am glad I trusted him with my eye correction (iLasik). I had a smooth, efficient, effortless procedure. I am so happy with the results, am seeing 20/20 the next day. Dr. Wiens was very professional and helpful. I will be sending my husband and son next!

I got the surgury in 2021 well nothing but problem yet cause he keeps booking new surgeries my issues don’t get resolved they make apt and he runs late or has another person look at you but after an hour your still sitting and waiting!! How is his time so valued yet mine is not cause if your late you pay but him late over an hour all they say is oh well re book!!!! Like this is so unreal!!!Would never ever recommend this place!Like paying 5 grand to wait one year and still can’t see and I am needing glasses but yet can’t see him on my apts time so rebook maybe soon he can book properly so I can finally find out what I need to even see!….
