529 is great. We love the food and the ambiance. Whether we are stopping in for a quick lunch or dinner, the service has always been wonderful.The food isn’t groundbreaking, but they do serve classics and they serve them well.If you intend to come for dinner, I would recommend making a reservation, esp on the weekends as they do tend to be busy.We, personally, prefer the lunch ambiance because it’s not busy and super laid back.

Pricy, as expected. We picked this place because we wanted to splurge for a special occasion. Server was amazing, food was great. Restaurant was lovely old house. Some people in there looked like regulars, but we are too frugal to make it a regular occurrence.

My husband and I came for a date night after work. As construction season is here and traffic is bad everywhere, we decided to come to dinner straight from work. I’m not sure if it was because we weren’t dress up and came in work clothing, we felt our server wasn’t interested in serving us. Though we were willing to pay for the food!He didn’t introduce their feature for the night when he first came over. We even asked for recommendation, he briefly mentioned a few appetizers and still did not mention their feature items. We overheard the feature items from the tables beside us. My husband wanted to order beef Wellington and didn’t see it in the menu so he thought they no longer carry this item. Imagine his surprise when he overheard the conversation in the next table! Overall, we felt judged. Our food was great, just disappointed at the service.We were looking forward to dinner experience and left disappointed. We haven’t been to 529 Wellington since COVID. It was different a very different experience in comparison to when we last came here!

Sat at the bar too and ordered appys and drinks. Delicious food, the Yorkies, carpaccio, chicken liver pate and sweet potato fries were awesome. Had an early grey martini and a Moscow mule, also both delicious.

529 Wellington has been easily the best dining experience I have ever had. We ordered plenty of dishes to share and every single menu item I tried was phenomenal. I ordered the Beef Wellington for my main course and was blown away, not only did it look like a work of art, the taste surpassed that. On top of the excellent food, the service and overall atmosphere was out of this world, I will absolutely be returning!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 529 Wellington, and I have to say it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff. The decor was beautiful and inviting, with a cozy and rustic feel.The menu was extensive and had something for everyone, but I decided to try one of the their Canadian Prime steaks they are know for and I was not disappointed. The flavors were expertly balanced and the presentation was stunning. Each bite was a taste sensation, and I couldn't help but savor every mouthful. The side dishes are also wonderful for sharing with the table and are portioned large enough for many to enjoy.The service was top-notch, with the waitstaff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to make recommendations and helped me pair my meal with the perfect wine. I also appreciated that they checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.The restaurant also had a great atmosphere, with a lively but not overwhelming buzz. It was the perfect spot for a date night or a special occasion. I also loved that they had a great selection of desserts, and I couldn't resist trying their homemade lemon cheesecake. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.In conclusion, if you're looking for a fantastic fine dining experience, I highly recommend checking out 529 Wellington. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch and I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes.

One of the best steaks you will have hands down. This is a classic fine dining experience so be ready to pay for it. And pay well! But it's worth every penny and I fell in love with their rib eye steak. The service is top notch and the decor is super classy. It has the old school English vibe and it was great.The steak was delicious. It was nicely pink in the middle and juicy. You have a ton of options for side dishes and we loved the spinach. However the mushroom wasn't all that and it felt a little oily. The star is the steak and you have to try it.It's not just the food but an experience.
