Express K9 (Protection Dog Training & Police K9 Sales)

So I just dropped a lot of cash on a dog with John and here is what I can tell you so far.1) I don’t know him from a hole in the wall. Never met him before and dont know anyone related to him.2) I own a security business and was looking for a Malinois for protection work.3) I contacted 2 other trainers/breeders before him and the blew me off.4) John answered my questions and his response was simple. I don’t have one but let me look around!He found the dog we wanted. Had it delivered to Canada from the USA. And currently is boarding and training the dog.Should I believe 1 bad review? I believe he will deliver. I see the love for the craft. I have faith that John and his team will deliver a solid well trained dog. I’ll let you know the progress. Proof is in the pudding!

Selling dogs with previous injuries without notifying buyer, substandard practices, poor communication, and the piece de resistance; when asked for fair compensation or for more information, either glossed over or blocked. Save your money and buy from better.

Ask and you shall receive. You want a working dog , John is your guy.All I can say is what a great experience it was working with K9 express. John helped transformed my goofy pup into a well behaved working dog, that now I can walk off leash like a boss , like come on how baller is that

Lesson learned we should have paid more attention to the negative comment because basically we had the same issues! Didn’t show up for 3 appointments he denies it but I have all the messages that say otherwise!He also informed us that the training would no longer be done at a facility but was going to be done in our home! We had one consultation meeting with him where he called our breeder to ask them some questions and not only was he rude and condescending he literally didn’t make any sense and we were mortified! These are reputable breeders who have been in business for many years! After he left I called to apologize for his behaviour! After the third missed appointment and his behaviour on the phone we asked for our money back before training started (offered to pay for the hour consultation) and he refused! After giving it some thought we didn’t want him to not have to work for the money he was refusing to return that we would go ahead with the lessons! In the meantime a family member posted a review on our behalf and he messaged me and said the only way he would do any lessons was if the post was taken down! By that time I had heard of other negative experiences and decided we didn’t want anything to do with him! He is still refusing to return our money even though he terminated and there were no lessons given!!!

John went above and beyond to help me find the perfect fit for our family. I can’t speak highly enough about how professional he was and how great our experiences have been! I highly recommend him based on my experience!!

Been working with our 6 yr old on a few behavioral issues. John has been fantastic! He is very knowledgeable about animals behaviors and cares about our fur babies. Ended up bringing our new pup into a few sessions and I am completely pleased with the service we have gotten.

We have been training with John for several months after purchasing his Executive Personal Protection K9 Package.We researched our next breed and decided on a Dutch Shepherd, primarily for more longevity as we had lost a GSD to cancer at the age of 11. We enjoy the more 'protective' working breeds so the smaller Dutch Shepherd was an obvious choice for us. We purchased a puppy from another Canadian breeder and found John when she was about 4 months old.John was forthcoming from the beginning of my contact with him. I asked to see him work with his dogs before commiting to the protection program he offered. His dog Axel works willingly and happily for him. They are a confident team!Our now one year old Dutch Shepherd female is progressing nicely. We have had a few restarts in the bite work portion of her program, definitely not John's issues. It has been the personality and temperment of my dog that has driven our progress. Although my dog is not suited for PSA competition, he continues to work with me to achieve my goals with her, within her personality and desire to perform. I am confident we can achieve her BH in Schutzhund/IPO/IGP and we are looking forward to seeing her progress within the sport - or not, depending on her desire to work within the sport.John will help you to find the path for your dog within their abilities based on temperment and genetics. He is very knowledgeable in his chosen field and will find the best way to proceed with a dog. He's not afraid to tell you if your dog is not suited to your 'plans' for his/her future, rather than forcing your dog into a role they aren't truly happy to fill. He has been compasionate towards my dog and has thought of her first when it comes to her program and how to proceed.I highly recommend John for a balanced training program with you dog, he will help you and your dog reach your potential!

I'm so happy with how training with John went ! My girl walks better (doesn't constantly tug) and is less reactive to other dogs. The training collar we ordered came in so quickly. It was super cute too. Once we began training with it, walking her became so much easier.John was also always willing to answer my many many questions. I appreciated the time he took to help us. Great value for service.
