Great little spot but the Mother's Day high tea was overpriced for what it was. The treat tray all tasted like thawed out frozen items. Will likely give them one more try on a non-event day based on other reviews.

This location is beyond words stunning the cozy snug wow so adorable. The goose burger was homemade an beyond words an the prawns just amazing. I didn’t want to leave it is truly a Parksville gem.

Hannah and Chelsea are great servers that tended to my worries and inquiries. Honestly, this place is worth visiting, the food is perfect for family meals, or just dining alone. Thank you, Black Goose!!

Wonderful British cuisine if you are interested in pot pies, fish and chips, banger and mash. Also the bread pudding and sticky toffee is the best I ever had.The entree averages around $25, we tried the pot pies and fish and chips. It was one of the best we had. The banger and mash were good, but I had better elsewhere. The desserts were amazing as mentioned earlier.The atmosphere was in a historic old house with older style decor. The set up felt like separated rooms and wasn't the best atmosphere setting. Service was friendly and helpful. I would really come back just for the food alone.

Was a lovely place to have tea with friends. We had tea and goodies with a view.We asked for and got a bright window setting.Service was good. And the tea was beautifully presented.

I had the halibut, coleslaw and chips and my hubby had the steak and stilton pie with salad. We finished our meal with the chocolate and Guinness pie. Everything was delicious. Service was great. Neat atmosphere in a house that was built in the 1920’s. Beautiful view and big picnic tables out back outdoor eating area and dog friendly. Looking forward to the next opportunity to go again.

We came to Black Goose Inn to try their famous pies and fish & chips. Both were beyond our expectations to be very tasty and filling. The atmosphere is like dining in someone's home. A great place to visit but be sure to make a reservation first.

We heard an awful lot about this place, and it really didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly, and fairly efficient. A little understaffed, but not a big deal.I believe it was originally a house, converted into a pub. Likely a few other conversions over the many years.Quite a nice looking place. Old British pub vibes.Food is really good. Can't complain.

My mum and I would have to say this was the best dining experience we have ever had. Our little dog Poppy was even able to join us! Dog friendly, delicious, and a SPECTACULAR view!!!!!
