If you are not into big chain gyms, this is the place for you.Highly recommend the classes upstairs, there is a variety for every taste and the instructors are all very knowledgeable! Not to mention the friendly staff.Some areas could use extra cleaning, bit that’s the only downside. Pricing is super fair too, they charge more for private classes but that’s understandable.

Absolutely the worst customer server I’ve ever experienced in my entire life I’ve had multiple problems with payments going through which as led to payments adding up multiple times after I payed them off I tried contacting customer service through email and phone call I have been ignored until they finally replied in which I told them to cancel but did they cancel it ? Absolutely not they kept taking money and I now have another 192$ in fees which I will not be paying because my request of canceling my membership was ignored multiple times I absolutely do not recommend applying for this gym or you will probably be stuck here forever and your money will be drained without you even knowing

Been so busy only went in few times, but i've been paying for few months. Wanted to cancel and rejoin after I have more time.Can't even cancel on the phone or online, need to come in person to sign some cancelation contract and pay extra fees just to cancel.Should not prioritize short term profit over potential long term customers. Been going there for a year or so now and I love it. Everyone there is incredibly friendly and approachable, the equipment is decent and varied, and even when it's busy I'm still able to do the stuff I want to do. The martial arts classes are great too. The amenities could use some work and I find it so odd there isn't a water fountain, but I just use the sinks to fill my bottle. Have made some cool friends and have hit some big PRs here.

Bloor Street Fitness is the best gym I have ever been a member of. The staff is very friendly and encouraging no matter what your fitness level is. I also find the trainers are willing to help you if you’re unsure of how to do something or have a question about anything fitness related. I was worried about hurting myself with my form once and Ian really helped me make sure I was doing things properly to avoid hurting myself. They seem to take safety very seriously and want to make sure everyone is okay and having a good experience. I recently hurt my knee working out and they were very helpful and made sure I was okay which I greatly appreciated. The gym also has a lot of different equipment, as well as one of the few gyms I have seen with a trap bar and many benches so you’re often not waiting for one to open up. I really like the atmosphere of this gym and I don’t feel inferior when I am here. They really try to promote an atmosphere of inclusion and positivity. As a trans identifying person, I feel safe here ( I left my previous gym due to safety issues) and I feel the staff would have my back if anything were to come up (which it hasn’t). The monthly rate is also very fair and I appreciate the 24 hour availability. I am really happy it is so close to me and I hope to be a member for a long time. Thanks for the great experience!

The number of people who smell and do not shower has exploded. The staff doesn't care that people chill on the bench racks and chat for hours. This used to be a get in

They doubled the cost of my membership after being a customer for many years. Now I would understand if the purpose is to invest on the gym in some way but instead now they expect you to bring your own water because they got rid of the water fountain and have no plans to bring one. First time I've been to a gym where there's not a water fountain to fill ur bottle. Instead they sell you the water now. Their accessories are a hazard, I had a one of the handles snap broken while working out thankfully no injury. Yet still today there are similar handles that look like it's a matter of time before they snap and they won't replace it for new ones. These things cost $25. It's hard to say if they're not purposefully trying to go out of business. Even tho im an old time customer, I just can't recommend this place anymore.

I love this gym. I've only been here for less than a month, but I can tell from the friendliness of the staff, and the overall quality and general well being of the clientele that it is a good place to workout. It is not as big or as modern as some of the other gyms out there, but what it lacks in those areas, it more than makes up for it in personal service and overall good vibe. Will continue to go here for the foreseeable future, and would definitely recommend it to my friends and whoever is reading this review.Thanks
